When he asks you to be his girlfriend- Leo

Y/n's pov:

Finally it's winter break! No school, no homework, and no more teachers, for at least two weeks. All I'm planning to do is catch up on my sleep and maybe hang out with my ninja friend, Leo. I wish I could be on winter break forever. As I got home from school, I placed my things near the door and I walked over to the couch, flopping down onto it. Christmas was coming soon and I wanted to get Leo something, but I don't know what to get him. He is a ninja, maybe I could give him something that symbolises ninjitsu. (Is that how you spell it??)
   Durimg the past two days my family and I put up Christmas decorations, my favorite part of decorating is hanging the ornaments. It reminds me when I was little one of my parents would lift me up to the star on. I smiled as I finished hanging the decorations.
   I helped my mom make some gingerbread cookies on Christmas eve. My relatives were ready showing up and it wasn't even five yet, don't get me wrong I love them all but sometimes they could be annoying. I was finishing up the gingerbread man with some blue icing. My mom looked over to my cookie, "Um y/n, why is your gingerbread man green and a frog?" my mom asked. "Dunno but it looks great, right?" I smiles towards her. She returned the smile and nodded. "Ok now time for them to bake." my mom out the tray of cookies in the oven and steered washing the dishes. "Oh also he's a turtle." I smiled and walked out of the kitchen. "Kids and their imagination." she muttered whiched made me giggle since it reminded me of that spongebob episode with the box.
  I walked into my room to check on my present for Leo, but I was greeted with my cousin holding the nicely wrapped present. A smug from plastered on his/her face. "Who's Leo?" c/n (cousin's name) asked. I caould feel my face heat up. "Oooh is he your boyfriend?" he/she asked. I walked over to him/her and grabbed the present not even bothering to answer the question. "Someone is secretive this year." he/she teased. "Can I not get things for other people?" I asked placing the present on my nightstand. "Just tell me of he's your friend or boyfriend." I sighed and say down on my bed. "He's really good friend, there happy?" he/she smiled, "very now I'm gonna go eat the gingerbread men's house." "Where are they suppose to live if you eat their house?" I asked. "In my stomach, duh." I playfully rolled my eyes. "Ok go before the others eat it." c/n walked out closing the door.
  It was almost midnight and I texted Leo to come over an hour ago. I yawned and stared at my ceiling. About ten minutes passed and I heard a light tap on my bedroom window. I turned my head towards my window and I was greeted by a smiling Leo holding a small box. I smiled back and stood up making my way to my window. I opened the window and was immediately hit by the cold breeze from outside. "Hey Y/n." he greeted. "Hey Leo." I stepped to the side. "Come in, don't worry all of my relatives are asleep." Leo climbed in and closed the window. "I got you this." Leo handed me the small box which was wrapped nearly with my favorite color. I smiled and handed him his present. "Aww you shouldn't have. Thanks Leo, I aslo got you something too." I put the small box down on my bed and looked towards him. 'poor Leo he must be freezing. Being cold blooded must be rough during winter. "Hey Y/n I need to ask you something." Leo said. "Sure go ahead." he averted his eyes towards the ground and I could see a tint of a pink shade on his cheeks. "Well I'm we're really good friends and I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?" I was speechless. I nodded and smiled. "Of course I'd love to be your girlfriend!" I hugged him tightly and he returned the hug. I looked over to my clock and it was passed midnight. "Merry Christmas, Leo." I smiled and hugged him tighter. "Merry Christmas, y/n."
   We pulled back from our hug and opened up our presents. Leo got me a fifty dollar gift card to any store I want and a bracelet with a turtle on top that had sapphire blue gems as eyes. I got Leo a necklace and some warm clothing including some insulation gloves, a blue scarf, and a grey beanie. "Thanks, y/n." I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Anytime, Leo."

A/n: heyy sorry that I didn't update my relatives were over and I couldn't update without my cousin looking over my shoulder and asking me questions and I was helping out my sister get together with her crush and the holidays were so busy for me but here it is hope you liked it!
