When he asks you to be his girlfriend- Donnie

Y/n's pov:

The lunch bell rang and everyone packed up and ran out of the classroom. As I walked out, the intercom came on, "Remember today is the last day to get your tickets for the Sadies Hawkins dance for tomorrow night. Ladies this is your chance to ask out the guys so get out there and ask who ever you want! Tickets are on sale today and singles ticket would be fourteen dollars without an ASB sticker and with an ASB sticker it would only be twelve. Couples tickets are twenty-two dollars with an ASB sticker and without one it would be twenty-four dollars. The dance will start at eight p.m. and will end at eleven p.m."
    I already bought my tickets for me and a guy friend of mine. "Hey f/n! Have you seen gf/n?" i asked my friend. (gf/n= guy friend's name) "He's at the quad with his friends." I nodded and smiled. "Thanks now come with me I need to ask him what time he's gonna get there."
   My friend and I walked to quad and there he was. He was talking to a girl that had a lot of makeup on. We walked over to him and everyone turned to look at us. "Hey gf/n, what time are you gonna be at the dance?" I asked him. "I'm not going anymore." he said. "What do you mean you're not going? I already bought the tickets and you already said yes to go with me." "Well What s the point? You're just gonna be hanging with your friends." I literally wasted my money to make him a poster and buy him his favorite chips and he's canceling it at the last minute. "My friends have their own dates." everyone was now staring at us. "How come you don't want to come?" I asked. "I don't want to go you cause your ugly." my heart broke. I didn't like him that way but it still hurt. We're good friends and I didn't expect him to be rude. I fought back tears and walked away. I just wanted to go home but I still had two more periods to go.
   After school ended, I ran into my room crying into my pillow. I thought he was nice but now I know that he's a snake. I heard a knock on my door. "Sweetheart, is everything alright?" my mom asked form the other side of the door. I sat up and wipes my eyes. "May I come in?" "Yeah.." i whispered but loud enough for her to hear.
   My mom came into my room and sat down on my bed next to me. "What's wrong, y/n?" I sighed. "You know gf/n?" I asked her and she nodded. "I asked him to sadies and he said yes." my mom seemed bemused. "But today at lunch he said He didn't want to go anymore because I'm ugly.." I wanted to cry again but I fought back the tears. "Oh honey I'm so sorry to hear that." she pulled me into a hug and hugged her back.
   It was around night time and I was getting ready to go to bed. My phone started to vibrate and I picked it up to see my friend calling me. I answered her call, "Hey f/n, how's it going?" I asked still feeling a bit dejected from earlier today. "Hey Y/n, it's good. And are you ok? I heard what happened today at lunch a lot of people are making fun of you. I swear once I see gf/n I'm gonna luck him where the Sun don't shine and embarrass him in front of everyone for hurting you." "Yeah but a little sad but yeah." I sat down on my bed and looked toward my alarm clock. "Guess what happened?" f/n asked me. "What?" I asked. "My date stood me up too." that really made me mad because the guy she asked out she really really liked him and he seems like a good guy. He's not a fuckboy like my "date". "Oh I'm sorry to hear that maybe he had a good reason to." "Yeah but heyy now we can both go as friends so how 'bout it?" she asked. "Yeah ok we'll make it lit." I said while giggling a bit. "Hell yeah!"
   We talked for a while I until she had to go to bed. "Goodnight y/n." I yawned and covered myself with my fluffy blanket. "Night f/n." I hung up and fell asleep.

          ~TOMORROW NIGHT~

I was getting ready to go to the dance. I looked at myself at the mirror and sighed. 'maybe gf/n was right.. I am ugly..' I thought to myself. I heard a light tapping sound come from my window. Donnie was standing there greeting me with a warm smile. I motioned for him to come in. He climbed in through the window and walked over to me. "Hey Y/n, where you heading off to?" he asked. "To sadies at school." I responded. "Oh who you going with?" I sighed and say down on my bed. "I was gonna go with my guy friend but he said no yesterday at lunch because I was ugly." I heard Donnie growl lowly. "Who is he? Where does he live?" "Donnie it's fine I know I'm ugly and I'm going with my friends now so I'm not alone." his eyes soften and he sat down next to me. "Y/n, you're not ugly. In fact you're the most beautiful girl I have ever met." he said which made me blush slightly. I noticed he had a tint of pink to his cheek as well. "Thanks Don but I know you're just saying that." he put his in my lap. "No, I'm not just saying that. It's the truth. You're beautiful inside and out and if nobody agrees then that's their problem, but I really do think that you're beautiful." that made me smile. "Thanks Donnie you're the best." I said and hugged him. He returned the hug.
   When we pulled out of the hug, he looked down at his hands nervously. "Hey, you ok?" I asked. "Yeah I was just wondering if you um," he started turning a shade of red. "if you would want to be my girlfriend." he said still not making eye contact. I smiled and hugged him again. "Of course I'll be your girlfriend." and again he returned the hug sighing contentedly.

A/n: heyyy y'all! Well hoped you enjoyed this Chapter I'm going to sadies tonight. And this Chapter is based on a true event that happened to me and my friend. My friend's date didn't want to go with he cause she was "ugly" but my friend is sooooo pretty. He's such a snake. And my date had to cancel it cause I don't know why but I know that he would have a good reason for him and yes I do like him and I was a bit sad when he didn't get his ticket but oh well I'll go next year.
