I woke up and slowly looked around me. My head was resting on something soft, dark and warm. "Morning sleepyhead," I looked up and saw Nathan smiling at me. I quickly lifted my head up and sat on the seat properly. I looked down to make sure he hadn't undressed me. To my surprise I was no longer in my pink pyjamas. "I didn't get you undressed. I made Samantha change you. We aren't that close yet, babe," Nathan laughed.

"Don't worry, Alex; he is telling the truth. I got you changed, well you mainly got yourself changed, but you fell asleep again straight after. You seemed pretty tired," Samantha reassured me. "You did pretty well, considering you were half asleep."

I blushed and looked down at the black shirt and black jeans I was wearing. I couldn't remember doing that. "What about my hair and makeup?" I asked. Nathan looked at me and laughed. "I guess I didn't do any, did I, Nathan?" He shook his head, trying to stifle his laughter. I hit the back of his head, so he glared at me.

"Here," Samantha said, handing me a black makeup bag. "There's a mirror in there. I think I must have something your colour," I opened it up and smiled at her.

"Thanks, Sam," I sang. I pulled the mirror and a bottle of foundation out of the bag and started putting it on. "You use the same foundation as me. I'm sand too."

"Oh, good. I thought I was," she smiled. I finished with the foundation and put it back in the bag; then pulled the mascara out and applied it to my eyelashes.

Nathan leant into my side and pushed my hair behind my ear. "You didn't need to do that. You looked fine as you were."

I rolled my eyes and flicked my hair back in place. "I did though. I didn't want you laughing at me all day."

"I wasn't laughing at you; I was laughing at your hair," he smiled. I flipped him off and turned to look out of the window at all of the people rushing about in suits and fancy clothes. The van was crawling along, the traffic was building up. I turned back to Nathan and looked at the people sat down. Samantha was opposite Nathan, with Max and Siva in the front. Max was driving and Siva was fiddling with the computer on his lap.

I turned to Nathan. "I'm surprised you aren't sat in the front."

His expression changed as he looked back at me. "I wasn't just going to leave you in the back with Kaneswaran Flesch; I have to look after you."

"I'm not a lost child. You don't have to look after me." I told him. "I don't want you to look after me. I don't need looking after; I'm a 25 year old woman."

"You just told me how old you are," Nathan giggled. I rolled my eyes and looked at Samantha who was grinning at me. "Not that I didn't already know how old you are. Max and I researched you to make sure you aren't a danger."

"And am I?" I asked.

"Are you what?" He frowned.

"Am I a danger?" I asked.

"Of course not. Do you think I'm stupid enough to let a dangerous woman on my bus?" Max called from the front seat.

"So you can speak then, Max," Nathan joked.

"Of course I can speak, Nathan. I've been driving if you hadn't realised," Max called back. "Do you want to have a go, or should I just leave you and your girlfriend in peace?"

"I'm not his girlfriend," I growled. Nathan looked at me in shock. "What?" I snapped.

"Sorry... That was just a bit forceful!" He exclaimed.

"Just don't, Nathan. I don't want to be called the girlfriend of someone that I basically hate," I said, giving him a smile.

"You don't hate me. You love that I'm so rude," he winked.
