The Ends Beginning

11:10 read the time on my phone just 40 more minutes so I can leave this stupid class. All the kids here are so intolerable and the only conversations they have are about who is having sex with who and why Damon broke yet another girls heart. I cant believe I dated that boy for 3 years he is such an asshole and ever since we broke up he started dating all these girls and breaking their poor hearts. As my favorite band Palaye Royale says "here in my generation I got something to say lets not have conversations that just fade away." I flipped into an empty page in my notebook and started to doodle as my history teacher put a movie for us to watch. The school year was basically over for me since I'm a senior and all I do now in most of my classes is just watch movies and doodle. I felt my phone vibrate to see that it was one of my best friends Lila who texted me "Girl ask your teacher if you can go to the bathroom and meet me in the tennis courts ;)" I put my notebook into my bag and got up pushing my chair in as I walked to my teacher.

"Mr. Jennings can I go to the restroom?" I ask politely

"Sure go ahead" he responds without taking his eyes off of the book he was reading

I leave the class and go down the stairs as I walk to the tennis courts as Lila told me to do. As I get closer to the tennis courts I see my other two best friends Arabella and Mia walking I yell out their names and they stop so I could catch up to them.

"Lila texted you to meet her at the tennis courts too I'm guessing" I laugh

"Yea did she tell you why?" Arabella asks

"Nope you know shes a wild child lets go see what shit she's getting us into now" I smirk as they both laugh at my statement. We all walk together as we finally reach the tennis courts seeing Lila on her phone smiling.

"Hey wild child so what's going on why did you wants us to meet here?" I ask

"Hey Arabella Mia I need to tell you guys something Scar you stay here and keep watch for teachers" Lila says as she pulls Arabella and Mia away from me. I just shrug and look out to see if any teachers are coming. Five minutes pass by and they all come back just smiling weirdly at me.

"You guys are being weird whats going on?" I ask raising my eyebrow

"Lets just say we have a surprise for you" Lila smirks

"You'll love it don't worry" Mia reassures

"Well ookay" I respond still unsure

"Look there's a mini music festival going on during lunch today lets go to Wendys and get a bite to eat and come back in time so we can be in the front row" Arabella says

"That sounds groovy I'm starving I didn't get to eat breakfast today" I laugh We all walk out the gate showing the security our IDs proving we were all seniors and he lets us go we walk to Wendys and order our food while talking about prom.

"So Lila is going with her boo Mia just got asked by her boyfriend and my friend is taking me so Scar who are you going to prom with? Arabella asks

"Actually I don't think I'm going to prom" I shrug

"And why the hell not you should go we're all going come on its going to be really fun!" Mia exclaims

"I don't have a date you all have dates and I don't want to be the only one just tagging along with no date its weird" I explain

"Scar come on you know Sam would totally ask you he has the biggest crush on you! You guys have so much in common I think you should just give it a shot its been two years since you broke up with Damon you deserve to be happy again" Lila responds

"I don't know guys he's like my best friend and what if it doesn't work out you guys have to remember we're in a band it would get really awkward" I sigh

"Scar come on stop being a killjoy!" Lila whines

"yea Scar it'll be fun please?" Mia pleads

"Scar this is our last year together we all know you are gonna be with your band and we all are going to college its just one night come on" Arabella argues

"Fine fine if he asks me I'll go with him and if he doesn't ask I'll just go happy now?" I say annoyed at the fact that they convinced me to go

"fuck yes alright now that we all settled this we have to go dress shopping!" Mia says excitedly

"yea we'll figure it out later" I say taking a bite out of my cheeseburger. We all silently ate our food and once we were all done we threw our trash away and walked back to school. I took out my hand sanitizer and offered it to everyone while Lila offered gum to us. It was our little ritual every time we went out one of us offers gum while the another offers hand sanitizer. I took a piece of gum and popped it into my mouth as we walked back into the gates. We all walked towards the football field and saw that there was a whole bunch of tents set up and a big stage where I'm guessing the bands were gonna play.

"So do you guys know who is gonna perform?" I ask

"uh nope have no idea" Mia said as she tried to hold in her laugh

"alright whatever." I say with annoyance. I know my best friends they're hiding something from me I just want to figure out what it is..
