Pretty Flower

I kept walking and finally got to the barricades in front of the stage and saw a bunch of guys setting up and it just made me more curious as to who is gonna be playing. I took out my phone and saw that the bell was going to ring in 8 minutes meaning that the swarm of crazy teenagers were going to be running onto the football field any minute. I leaned against the barricade and took out my circle sunglasses putting them on to block my eyes from the sun. I fixed my hat and just laughed at the nonsense that my best friends were doing. They were all trying to do a cart wheel and kept failing. I finally decided to join in on the fun so I took off my hat, bag, and glasses and showed them how to do a cart wheel without getting hurt.

"hey Scar come here sing this song with me" Arabella asked

"Yea sure what song?" I ask

"live like we want to you really got me into that song" She laughs

"Well they're a hella good band!" I exclaim

As we start singing the song Lila and Mia got quiet and then half way through Arabella got quiet leaving me to sing alone. I didn't mind so I kept singing ultimately finishing the song. Lila, Mia, and Arabella all clapped.

"thank you thank you I'll be here all week" I laughed as I bowed

"You have an amazing voice" a random deep voice said

"oh thank you I'm actually in a" I say as I turn around only to stop talking when I see who it is. It's Emerson Barrett the drummer of my favorite band.

"Well aren't you a pretty flower" Emerson smiles

"oh uhmm uhm thank youuu" I stutter out

"I believe these groovy sunglasses and hat belongs to you" Emerson says as he hands me my things

"Oh yea thank you" I say as I shakily grab them from his hands

"hey Em we have two minutes get on stage!" Remington yells into the mic

"Got to go pretty flower you should start heading to the barricade to watch our show" He winks before walking to the stage

"Surprise!" Arabella, Mia, and Lila all yell in unison

"You guys knew!! This was my surprise! Holy fuck you guys he thinks I'm pretty!!" I scream a little louder than I intended

"Come on flower child the bells about to ring lets go watch your favorite band perform!" Arabella snickers as she hands me my bag. I happily take it and skip to the barricade as the bell rings. I then hear people screaming and running towards the the stage we all link arms and stick close to the barricade. I then see Sebastian walking on stage and I scream as loud as I can and he just smiles and points at me. I see Emerson sit behind his drum set and he looks at the crowd and spots me and just winks. I start to blush and Remington walks out waving to the crowd. They start playing Get Higher and I sing along as Remington sings and the crowd screams. We all start jumping up and down going to the beat of the song. The song ends with Don't Fell Quite Right starting up right after, I sing along and I smile like a big idiot because my best friends and I are the only ones in this shit school that know the lyrics while everyone else is just screaming. The song ends and Remington turns to Emerson and it looks like they're talking. Emerson then motions Sebastian to go over and they all talk for about a minute when Remington finally walks back.
"Damn well you guys are a very beautiful crowd can I hear the ladies scream?" We all screamed as loud as we could. With all this screaming I'm probably going to lose my voice.

"Damn you ladies are loud but can we hear the guys scream now?" The guys all screamed like I have never heard guys scream before I just look to Mia and start laughing.

"Well well isn't this great so if you guys don't know we are Palaye Royale and we are very happy to be playing for you guys today because this is the last show of the high school nation tour! This next song is called Live Like We Want to and I heard from my dear brother Emerson that a pretty young lady was singing this song before we came on so I would like to bring her on stage and have her sing with me!!" As everyone yelled their lungs out I couldn't believe what was happening. I looked at my friends to see if what he said was really true and they all excitedly pointed at me yelling at Remington that it's me.

"So if you guys would help me do the honor of finding this pretty girl we can go back to having a good time!" He yells

"Hey Remington she's over here! Remington!" My friends all yelled

"Hey Remington it's my best friend Scarlet!" Mia yelled as the crowd started getting quite. Remington heard Mia and looked over at me and told security to bring me up.

"Go this your chance Scar!" Mia exclaimed

"Shit okay how do I look and can you hold my bag for me please?" I asked

"You look great flower child no go!" Arabella laughs while taking my bag. The security then picks me up over the barricade then puts me back down

"Thank you" I say

"No problem sweetie no go on those stairs and sing your little heart out" he smiles

I nervously walk up the stairs and see Sebastian holding his out for me. I take his hand and he helps me walk to Remington.

"Emerson was right you are a pretty flower" Remington said while smiling. The crowd then all wooed which is weird because these idiots never even give me a second glance. I smile slyly and put my hair behind my ear. Then a guy ran over and handed me a mic. I quickly turn to see Emerson have a huge smile on his face and I can't help but smile back. Ever since I found this band I've always had a crush on him and the fact that he called me pretty and now is the reason as to why I'm on stage with my favorite band its just so crazy. I still can't fully understand what is happening but I don't have time to think because the music starts to play.

"Well I told you take what your given cause life is for living but darling you, you told me well I don't give a damn just take me as I am no no no" Remington sings. I take a deep breath and start to sing with him. He looks at me and smiles once he realized I was singing along.

As we sing 'I spent 200 hundred years wandering around good god you've never been here I want to take you home I want to come right out and never let you go' Remington wrap his arms around me and kisses my cheek. I smile and keep singing the song and once he let me go I walk over to Sebastian and we start bobbing our heads together and we just smile at each other. I then start walking around the stage and as I sing 'I wanted to die but you will never set me free' I look at Emerson and point at him. He laughs and keeps drumming away. I then look at the crowd and spot Damon with his friends and he's looking directly at me and I look back but in the same moment I sang 'I wanted to take all of your fate you wanted to leave but you are nothing without me.' He then looked down and turned to his friend. I smile and keep singing the rest of the song dancing around the stage with Remington. This is where I belong this is what I'm meant for, to be on stage performing and dancing around. The song finally ends and Remington gives me a big sweaty hug I happily hug back. Once he let go I was about to walk off stage and enjoy the rest of the show but he pulled me back.

'Hey don't go how would you like to do the rest of the show with me you were great and we only have 2 more songs what do you say?" He asks

"Sure why not what song is next?" I smile

"How do you do" he smiles

"Fuck yes my favorite song!" I exclaim

"Okay and after that is My Youth Generation" he laughs. They start to play and I sing along with Remington dancing around the stage trying not to fall with the heels that I'm wearing. The songs ended sooner than I thought but I was having to much fun.
