Song: Blue by Marina and the Diamonds

ANNA'S POV

It had been two weeks since what happened between Cameron and I and I hadn't talked to him still. I wasn't mad anymore of course, he had started dating Ariel and refused to speak to me. Meanwhile I had been doing just fine without him. Just Kidding. I thought about it every day, regretting what I had said. But there wasn't a thing I could do now. Today was volleyball day. Some friends and I all drove to the beach and played beach volleyball. Unfortunately, I was informed that Ariel would be joining us. Just Great.

I put a volleyball net in my car and some orange cones to mark off the court. Marie was bringing a volleyball. I drove over to my friend Lilly's house and she rode with me.

Finally, we arrived at the beach and Lilly helped me set up the court. Slowly, the rest of the group started to show up. I felt someone staring at me and turned around to see Cameron walking out with Ariel. When he saw me look at him, he turned around quickly. Idiot, I thought to myself.

I served first and it landed in. Ariel went for the ball but failed horribly. I smirked to myself and made another serve in. This time Cameron got it and hit it well. We had played together before.

After about five hours of playing, we all met up for dinner at a pizza shop. Everyone sat together, except Ariel and Cameron. They sat together at another table. We talked and laughed and just had a great time. How could you not have a great time eating pizza? Oh, I know. When every time you look over Cameron is staring at you. I don't know what his problem is, he's the one that started not talking to me in the first place.

NEXT DAY

It was a Sunday, and I didn't have anything to do, so I brought my laptop to starbucks and decided to get some school work done. I had been sitting there for about 15 minutes when I felt someone knock into my table and spill their drink on my shoes. "I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up," I heard someone say.

"It's okay. I'll help you," I said looking down. The person was an attractive boy about my age. "I'm Anna," I told him.

"I'm Nash," he said, smiling. That name sounded familiar.

After the drink was cleaned up, I closed my laptop. There were no seats available, so I asked Nash if he wanted to sit with me. He grinned and agreed, so we started talking. As we were leaving, he invited me to go to the movies with him next Friday, and I agreed. Now I had something to look forward to.
