How we survive is what makes us who we are.

"I'm back. Got Two guest plus four geeks in the alley." Glenn said through the radio as we raced down the stairs . Glenn seemed like a trustworthy kind of guy. I mean he did save us from being walker dinner.
When we reached the alley, two walkers hobbled to the staircase we were on. I walked in front of Glenn and slashed one of the walkers head off with my Katana. I was about to get the other ones before two guys appeared from a door and beat the other walkers with baseball bats. Rick grabbed me by the arm and led me through a doorway.
"Son of a bitch, outta kill you." A blonde woman said, throwing Rick to the side and pointing a gun at him. I quickly stepped into action and put my sword on her arm.
"Do it , and I chop your arm clean off." I told her through gritted teeth. She looked at me and swallowed. I pressed my sword down, adding a little pressure onto her arm. "Don't think I wont." I told her again. She glanced at Rick and put her gun away. I put my Katana back on my back and looked at the big group in front of me.
They looked like at least some of them had potential. They also looked like they weren't starving, which meant they probably have a camp just right outside the city. Glenn, I could trust, but the others haven't shown me any reason to be warned by them or to trust them. So either way, I'm going to keep my guard up. In case anyone wants to try anything.
"We're dead, all of us. Because of you two." The woman who held Rick at gunpoint cried. I furrowed my eyebrows as the rest began to talk.
"Andrea, just calm down." An older man said. He didn't look that old, probably in his late 40s. He was also very buff .
"I don't understand." Rick said looking at them. I nodded and relaxed a bit.
"Look, we came into the city to scavenge supplies." The buff man said grabbing Rick arms harshly. I glared at him and followed closely behind as he began to walk. "You know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving . You know what the key to surviving is? Sneaking in and out, tiptoeing. Not shooting up the streets." He finished as we walked into a department store. He had no right to be mad at us though. We were trying to survive , and i'm pretty sure if he was in the same predicament, he would of done the same thing. But I didn't want to start up an argument, so I kept my mouth closed.
"Every geek for miles around heard you popping off rounds." Another man said gesturing to a large door and window. Walkers were banging on the door, trying to break to glass. Hell, one even held a rock.
"You just rang the dinner bell." Andrea told us . I clenched my jaw and looked at the doors. If we didn't find a way out soon, we were definitnely going to be walker bait. We all walked back deeper into the store as the walkers cracked the glass.
"What the hell were you two doing out there anyway?" Andrea asked me.
"Trying to flag the helicopter." I answered.
"You were chasing a hallucination, imagining things. It happens." A black woman said looking at me.
"I saw it too. It was real." Rick defended me.
"Hey, T-dog , try that C.B . Can you contact the others?" The buff Mexican guy asked. We all turned to look at t-dog who was pushing buttons on a radio.
"Others? The refugee center? " Rick asked.
"Yeah. The refugee center has biscuits waiting in the oven for us." The black woman said sarcastically. I Looked at Glenn, who looked very frustrated .
