Must get away! Humans will kill me! A white wolf charged past. She left grit behind her as she weaved through the muddy trees. She could hear the shouts of man behind her. She had a human pup with her. She was carrying it in a basket like object. The men had chased her down, believing she had stolen the pup. No! She gave it to me! The human pup was unusually quiet. It was her job to get the pup back to her home. The white wolf felt like she could run no longer. She skidded to a halt and hid the pup behind a bush. Panting she turned around. Five human pointed spears at the wolf. "Foolish human." The white wolf snarled. Her voice sounded echoed to them. Like it was two people talking at once. It was a kind of creepy feeling to it. "I didnt steal the human pup. It was given to me." She continued, bearing her teeth. The human were suited with armor. They looked deadly, especially with the spears. "How could you do this, Arona! We worshipped your kind for centuries! And you repay us by stealing one of our young!" One of the human scum shouted at her. "For the last time! I didn't steal the pup!" Arona spat. One of the man yowled in rage and threw a spear at the white wolf. It penetrated through Arona's fur, plunging into flesh. Arona howled in pain. She leapt at the humans, tearing them apart with her teeth. She was jabbed in the stomach by another spear as she killed the last one. Whining, she fell back. A spear was stuck deep in her stomach, and another one in her shoulder. Blood pooled out of her wounds. Whining, Arona withered on the ground. Live human scent found its way into her senses. Jolting her head around, Arona stared at an old woman. They knew each other very well. "Arona! Oh dear what happened!" The old lady fretted. Arona gave a puff, baring her red teeth. "I told you we should have did the transfer at night! Now I have spears in me.." Arona said, her echoey voice radiated off the trees. "But don't worry. The human pup is safe, Morgan." Arona sighed, looking over at the bush she had hidden the man offspring. Morgan smiled, her wrinkles making her look more frail. "You know her name, Arona." Morgan laughed, coming over to try to heal her wolf friend. Arona bushed up her white fur. "Opal is not a wolf name." She snarled, the continued with attitude, "I think Osora fits better." The white wolf whined as a spear was pulled out of her shoulder. "Fine, fine! Osora it is. Meh, never liked Opal anyway." The old granny sighed, applying herbs to the wolfs bloodied fur. Arona wasted no time. "I'm sorry Morgan, but I need to leave. Otherwise Osora will freeze." Arona said, dully, her voice making a slight humming noise. Morgan looked at the ground. "Carry on. And I'll wait at our usual place, usual time." The old female said, sitting in the grass. Arona nodded, reaching behind the bush and grabbing the pup again. Clearing the bush with an easy jump, Morgan lost sight of Arona. The white wolf began charging through the wet ground. She left paw prints in her wake. They slowly filled up with mud as she continued on. A drizzle started to form, wetting down the towering wolf. Arona kept the basket pressed against her chest, blocking most of the rain. A loud thunder came, making the human pup make annoying noises. It wailed and whined until Arona couldn't stand it any longer. She set the basket down. The human was now awake, tears streaming down its face. "Shut up!" Arona snarled, spitting. She roughly grabbed the basket and carried on her way. Scaling rocks with mighty jumps, she climbed the mountain with ease. She neared the mountain out cliff at the top. It looked like a sharp white rock. It shined in the sunlight and glowed in the moonlight. Arona bounced on top of the rock that the wolves called, Light Rock. A dark brown male wolf sat at the entrance to a big cave. He blinked as Arona padded up. "Ryhan" Arona said, a little bit of respect in her tone. Ryhan dipped his brown head. "You know what to do Arona." He said to her. She set the human pup down. "I have to act like this... Things mother.." Arona replied with a grunt. Ryhan chuckled. "I know you've never had pups before, and its a lot harder than it seems." His deep voice was almost cut off by loud squealing by the human pup. Arona bared her teeth. She leaned her head down in front of its face. "Shut! UP!" She spat in its face. Spit splatted it in the eye and it yelled louder. Arona rolled her eyes, rocking the basket with a huge paw. Ryhan raised and eyebrow. Arona glared. "I can handle it! Alpha or not, I am capable of taking care of... This MAN PUP!" She snarled at the bigger wolf. Ryhan closed his eyes. "I know you can" he said. Ryhan got up, and disappeared into the cave. Arona looked at the pup when she felt something warm touch her paw. The human was smiling, its toothless mouth had its paw shoved in it. Arona felt a spark of love. She licked the pups cheek. I'll keep you safe, Osora...
