"Osora! Keep your head up! No, no, no! Duck down! More power in those legs!" Arona shouted, her echoey voice carried off with a snarl. Osora was trying to climb the rocks. She was covered in black bear fur to match her hair. Her blue piercing gaze traveled over the rocks. She had sharpened teeth from gnawing on bones. She had long nails too hook into the cracks. Arona was following close behind. Osora struggled up a rock. She was only 10 years old. She grew up much slower than wolf pups but Arona took that as a chance to train her more. Osora reached a gap in between some rocks. Taking a leap of faith, and a grunt of effort, she clung onto the ledge. Struggling she managed to pull herself up. Osora felt irritated at the fact that her mother could leap it so easily. "Mother! I'm tired! Can't we sleep? Its dusk already!" Osora pouted, her voice refined every word. Arona lifted her head up. "We must train. You have talent. But.." Arona sighed, the continued with a lighter tone, "If you are really tired then we can't go into the forest." She taunted. Osora put on a horrified expression. "Take me to the forest mama! I want to see it!" Arona raised an eyebrow. "You want to see the forest young one?" She asked. Osora nodded frantically. Arona crouched down, letting Osora climb on her back. Osora had to struggle, pulling on the fur of the white wolf a little to pull herself up. Arona stood up, Osora clinging to the fur on her back. Jumping down the rocky mountain, the bear sized wolf entered the forest. She stayed at a steady pace, being careful not to trip. "Where are we going today?" Osora asked, excitement fizzing inside her. Arona tilted her head back to talk. "We are going along the border of our turf. The human dens will be near so we must stay quiet." The wolf growled, her fangs catching a few rays of sun. Osora twisted up her face and did a horrible snarl. "Ha! We need to work on your wolf language young one." Arona laughed, picking up the pace and bounding over a log. "How far till the human dens?" Osora asked climbing up onto the wolfs neck. "Shh.. We are here." Arona silenced her, crouching down behind a bush. Osora slid off the white furred beast. She used her hands to delicately push a branch out of her view. Peeking through the bush, Osora caught sight of the humans. The wolf growled beside her. "Their villages get bigger every day." Arona barked, her shaky voice making the bush ruffle slightly. Osora looked at her mother, surprised. "You mean... Humans build more everyday?" Arona blinked. "If they are not building, they are speeding disease. If they aren't spreading disease they cut down trees." She snarled, fangs gleaming. Osora looked at the human dens again. A pile of sticks was getting burned by something. "Mama, what's that flickering orange and red stuff?" Osora said, staring into it. Arona blinked. "We call that Flame. Humans call it Fire." She replied, making a huff, stirring her fluffy white fur. Osora blinked, her blue eyes sparkling. "Is this flame... Dangerous?" Osora asked, leaning closer. She could feel slight heat. Some humans had circled around the flame. One of them poked the wood with a long stick. The piece of wood fell, making ash fill the air. It hit Osoras nose like a heatwave. She sneezed, alerting the humans. "Let's go." Arona growled, grabbing Osora by the bear cloak."Wait! I want to watch the humans more!" Osora whispered, trying to cling to the ground. Arona yanked her free and snarled. "The hunters will return soon. They always cause trouble so we better hurry." The white wolf growled, swinging Osora onto her back. The girl pouted a little as they began to walk back home.

Osora was curled in her nest made of leaves. She had wrapped the bear skin around her for warmth. She felt a wet nose tap her neck. "Wake up child. Its time for training." Arona barked in her ear softly. Osora blinked her blue eyes. She took in the whole sight of the cave at once. It was a fairly large cave. Considering it fit a whole wolf pack inside. "Are we going to the Pup Training Grounds?" Osora yawned, rubbing her eyes from sleep. Arona nodded. She nosed the aging human pup to her feet. The wolf lead her out of the cave slowly. A burst of sunlight burned into Osora's eyes. She blinked it away and ran to the Pup Training Grounds. Arona kept pace as they bounced down a couple rocks. There was a large flat ledge with sand covering it. Lots of wolf pups were here, doing individual tasks. A black wolf sat there and watched them come. "Arona, this is a training ground for wolf pups. Not human scum." The black wolf snarled, his very deep voice echoed around like all wolves. Osora flinched. She wished she was a real wolf... Its much better than being human apparently. Arona felt her pup tense against her side. "Really Coalis? She is a wolf pup. She is my wolf pup. Is there a problem with that, omega?" Arona snarled, baring her fangs and swishing her tail. Coalsis look stunned that the white wolf had called him by his rank. Omegas are the least dominant ones. Then it goes Betas and then Alphas. There are multiple alphas of this pack but only one is the leader. His name is Ryhan. There are also multiple betas, relatives to the Alphas. Arona was related to Ryhan by siblings-ship, making her a beta. Thus forth, it was considered a threat to call Coalsis omega. Coalsis bared his fangs at the white female. "I can still rip your pup apart... When your not looking.. I suggest, you train somewhere else!" He finished, spitting his last words out like his tongue was dry. Osora was always frightened of the black wolf. His sharp red eyes always made her feel tiny again. Arona nudged her forward. Osora remembered how to fight others without words. Crouching down she snarled, he sharpened teeth glinted when it catches the sunlight. She tried to act like a real wolf but she sounded more like a human. It left Coalis laughing and Osora tearing up. Arona couldn't stand it. She took a few steps toward the black male wolf. Leaping she sunk her teeth into his shoulder. She held him down. "Snap it Coalis." She snarled under her mouthful of fur. Letting go, Arona whipped around and walked away. Osora took some pride into knowing her mother cared. Following her back up the boulders they had climbed down, Arona lead Osora to the forest. They got to a small clearing and stopped. Arona turned around and faced Osora, eyes glowing. "You practice your wolf language. I'm going to hunt for the pack." Arona barked. Without letting Osora say anything, the white wolf dashed away. Osora felt lonely. She crouched down and snarled. "Grrrr!" It still sounded human... Determined she tried again. "Sngrrrr!" It sounded more wolf that time. Feeling over confident she tried again. It sounded completely human. Trying over and over until the sun went down, she managed to make a complete wolf snarl. Feel ecstatic, she jumped around. She stopped when she heard Ryhan's howl. Cupping her hands over her mouth in a certain way, she made her own howl. The stars had begun twinkling in the sky. Howling to the moon gave the wolves energy. Moonlight shined down on her frame, making her dark grey colored rather than black. Laying on her back she gazed at the stars. She glanced around the forest. She flinched back as a light hit her eye. Getting up she headed in the direction it came from. As Osora disappeared behind some bushes, she stepped on something. Hopping up in surprise, she looked at it. The object was silver like moonlight. It was also in the shape of the full moon. Osora delicately picked it up. It had a silver chain linking it. She saw female human wearing these all the time. She also smelled fresh scent of human on it. Throwing it a few feet away from her she snarled at it. Lifting her head up, she heard the close howl of Arona nearby, calling her home. Quickly, Osora grabbed the strange neck thing. Hiding it under a bush, she dashed back to the clearing. Arona was sitting there. "What happened Osora? Something wrong?" She asked, her voice sounding tired. "Oh uh.. It was nothing!" Osora lied. Arona raised an eyebrow. "Come on then pup, its time to sleep." The wolf said. She picked Osora up by the cloak. Just like a real pup! A crack sounded, Osora whipped her head around. Narrowing her eyes at the undergrowth, she scouted it for any sign of danger. To her surprise she smelled fresh human scent. Arona picked up the pace. She carried Osora up the mountain and into the cave. Setting her down in the leaf nest they shared, they curled up. Osora couldn't sleep. "Mama....." Osora said, about to tell Arona about the human object. "Go to sleep." Arona huffed, curling in tighter. Osora sparked a tiny bit of frustration inside her. Blinking at the stars, she began to count them until her eyes gave up. Osora fell asleep. Safe and sound.
