iii.    you rang?

SAM WINCHESTER STOOD in the back of Bobby's junkyard, with his arms tucked away in his jacket pockets. He looked up to the sky, and called out, "Ariel?" Sam remembered how she said she would drop everything to be with them if they prayed to her. "It's Sam. Do you think you can head over? We found new information."

Ariel, in heaven, heard his words, and immediately pushed the work sitting on her desk away from her body. She then stood up and transported herself to the Winchester's location.

The man, back on Earth, heard the familiar sound of wings flapping, and turned to see Ariel behind him with her eyes scanning their surroundings. "You rang?" She smirked as she turned to face him. Sam nodded his head before beckoning her to follow him back towards the rickety house. A smile danced on her lips as she went to pursue, but something caught her attention.

An unknown entity was suddenly felt by the archangel, and it made the hair on the back of her neck stick up. She instantly turned to face it with the angel blade already in her hands, pointed in its direction. This presence was simply tactile, and she could not seem to lay her eyes on it.

She shook off her uneasy feeling before catching up to the Winchester.

THE ANGEL SAT across from the eldest Winchester at the kitchen table, much to his dismay. Ariel could never understand why Dean disliked her as much as he did. She knew that it wasn't her fault, just simply something she was to take the blame for when someone else couldn't. The archangel of nature was determined to alter his mindset of her, into a more positive outlook.

Sam stood hunched over, glancing at all the items lying in the fridge. As Ariel went to turn her attention back to the house plant she was looking at, the all too familiar sound of wings flapping was heard from beside her. Ariel glanced back over towards Sam, only to see her brother, Balthazar, standing behind him with a rather annoyed expression on his face.

"Drinking your feelings, Sam? I thought that was your brother's bag." The male angel said, as Sam pulled out a beer bottle from the back of the fridge.

Sam cracked open the drink and muttered, "Stressful times."

Balthazar turned his attention to the rest of the group in the small kitchen. "We need to talk."

Ariel furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?"

"Because — I know I'm gonna live to regret this — but I'm officially on your team, you bastards."
