Alice was in an awkward star position her eyes wide in confusion and her expression oddly blank. Her grey covers were sprawled out some falling off the bed, but none of them covered her seminude body.

She had therapy tomorrow but she didn’t want to go. She had been lying to her therapist to get her off her back but the visions, hallucinations, dreams, whatever had been getting worse and worse. But still she refused to tell her about them. She was getting different ones, at least her mind was kind enough to change it up a bit sometimes. But she wasn’t sure if she liked these ones better or worse.

                Probably worse.

She would find herself at the bottom of a dark, murky lake. In new clothes she didn’t recognize except from old mid evil movies something the women would wear of high rank or royalty. She would strain to look around at her surrounding as the lake water burned her eyes. She reached out with her hands touching something soggy she moved her hand up feeling it, soon it turned around and bumpy and it broke off into five parts. Very similar to a human hand.

She would quickly remove her hand from whatever she had been touching and would swim to the top of the lake. Only to find her ankle chained to a weight. Her eyes widened and she suddenly became aware that she no longer could hold her breath. She took a sharp breath in and her mouth and lungs were filled with frigid cold water that burned her throat and lungs raw.

Suddenly her skin began to decay at a rapid pace but she could feel every bit of it. Her body temperature rapidly decreased and soon her skin began to soften and turn sick in green colour then slowly fall off, revealing the fleshy, bloody muscle beneath. She put her delicate hand in front of her face a few inches away. She could barely see them and the water was really beginning to irritate her eyes, it felt like acid to them.

She could see her muscle beginning to disintegrate before her sunken eyes. She wanted to howl in pain but she could not for her lung and mouth were already filled with water, but at least her lungs no longer screamed for air and she no longer frantically thrashed to get to the surface.

She knew it was futile what was the point? Though she did try desperately to grasp back onto reality but this already felt so real. Finally she gave up the struggle when she felt a looming presence above her. She could barely make out anything other than a shadow above her peering down intently.

Then they set something down upon the water that began to sink fast.

It was wearing a wispy dress that floated above it.

She watched coldly as the body floated down beside her. To her horror it was a young woman and from what she could make out her throat had been ripped to shreds.

She no longer wanted to be here. She began to panic, thrashing madly, trying desperatly to grab a hold of the water as if she could grab it and pull herself back to reality.

Suddenly she landed with a thump to the cold carpet her eyes flying open her hands instantly going to her throat as she gulped in the cold fresh air. It stung her raw throat and lungs but felt amazing. The cold air was warm against her freezing skin. When she had, had her fill of oxygen she quickly felt over her smooth skin, making sure she was whole and wasn’t missing anything. Though she did feel hot against her cold skin as it slid down in a thick stream leaving a warm trail in its wake.

She placed two delicate fingers on the warm thick liquid then pulled her hand back. She could see that the tips of her fingers were coated in a crimson liquid.
