James and Lily hated fighting with eachother. But out of the two of them, Lily hated fighting more, because of her experience with Petunia.
The first time they fought after they were married, they wouldn't speak to each other the entire day, as they are stubborn as heck. When they went to bed, they both scooted as far away from each other as possible. But Lily felt so guilty and sad and just couldn't take it. Basically, when James woke up the next morning, he found Lily snuggled up into his chest, sleeping peacefully. He couldn't help but smile and kiss her forehead.
