Emily’s POV

I couldn’t believe what Lauren had just told me, I knew I didn’t know Harry that well but I honestly didn’t think he would be like that. No wonder she left I probably would’ve done the same if it was me. It was clear she wanted to get off the topic, she kept asking about the last three days. I told her we didn’t do too much exciting, which was the truth. “Lauren you still haven’t unpacked!” I throw my arm in the arm pointing to her suitcase I didn’t notice when I first came in. She just shook her head smiling at me, “Well I’m going to unpack mine so I suggest you unpack yours.” I grabbed my suitcase before I went into my room I turned back to Lauren who let out the loudest groan and rolled off the sofa.

Lauren’s POV

By the time I had finished unpacking it was nearly half three. I decided to dry my hair, didn’t take long cause it was only damp. When I went back into the living room Emily called me “Lauren get me a glass of coke!” I grabbed the bottle out of the fridge and got a glass and poured out the cool drink. When I turned out of the kitchen Emily was just walking out her room, she flopped down on the sofa and I put the glass in front of her on the coffee table. “Thank you, and you know I was thinking we could fill that spare room,” I joined her on the sofa “Yeah but I don’t want to be living with a random,” “Oh no me either,” Emily said taking a sip of her drink. “Maybe we could invite Niall,” Emily laughs into her glass, “Yeah okay Lauren, or Harry.” The smile on her face disappears, clearly she wasn’t thinking. “Lauren I’m so-“

“It’s fine Emily, it’s fine.”

Harry’s POV

I was lying on my bed I had been for what felt like hours. All the other boys were at Liam’s and Sophia’s but I wasn’t really feeling up to it. I looked at my watch, six o’clock. I didn’t know what time Lauren started work and it’s not like I could ask her either. I’ll go at 10, I think to myself, yeah she’ll be at work by then surely. She couldn’t ignore me in person could she?

Lauren’s POV

As I was getting ready for work I got a text off an unknown number “Hey Lauren it’s Cori just wanted to check up on you after you left, what was wrong?” Me and Cori had got on really well why’ll we were away, I explained everything to her and she just replied “I’m gonna kill Louis, he must have egged him on.”

Cori’s POV

“Louis William Tomlinson!” I sounded like a mother calling out my troublemaking son. “Yeah...” There was almost a hint of fear in his voice. He walked into the room sheepishly “What is this about you saying Lauren wasn’t good enough for Harry?” Surprise covered his face, he clearly wasn’t expecting that “ I was joking around with him and he took it really seriously, who told you about that?” He clearly thought it wouldn’t have been Harry, “Lauren overheard you guys talk, she heard everything both of you said.” The surprised expression was soon taken over with concern, “Is that why she left?” I nod at him, in shock that any of this happened. “I better tell Harry.” He said pulling out his phone. “No.” I stopped him “He needs to find out from Lauren himself.”

Lauren’s POV

“I’m off Emily.” I shout so she can hear me from her bedroom. “Bye!” She calls back. I drive to the bar, luckily I get there just about on time. I head to Lisa’s office before I actually get to work. I knock on the door “Come in,” I hear Lisa’s faint voice call me in. “Oh hi Lauren,” she looks like she is busy and doesn’t really want to talk, “Hi Lisa.” “Lovely tan you’ve got!”

“Oh thanks,” I run my hands over my tanned, bare arms. “Anyway I better get out there before it gets busy.” She nods in agreement, I put my bag and jacket in the coffee room and head out to see just a few groups of people sat down drinking. I am greeted by Sam the guy I am usually work with, “Lauren! Hi!” He sounds happy to see me, he pulls me into a big hug. Sam was a good friend and an ex but me and him were so close. We were only together a few months but we were friend’s way before anything happened and we were still friends now after everything. He asked me how my time away was and I didn’t really feel like telling him about the Harry drama so I just told him I had a great time. It didn’t take long for crowds of people to swarm in. I could tell it was gonna be a busy night, there were people asking for drinks every few minutes, Sam and I were rushed off our feet.

Harry’s POV

I drove to Gem, I was nervous to see Lauren, she always made me a little nervous but this time, I was almost scared to see her. I managed to find a place to park, it didn’t take too long to get in, as I got to the door I got even more nervous, I walked in and there she was, handing two girls at a table their drinks. In her all black uniform, tight black shirt, tight black skirt. As she walked to the bar I saw her laughing with another guy who clearly worked here. She was holding onto his arm both laughing together. I coolly and calmly walked up to bar, but there were tons of people trying to get drinks Lauren was serving the complete opposite end of the bar, “What can I get you mate?” The cheerful guy asked me, “Just an orange juice please.” Just a few moments later he came back with a glass of orange juice. I went and sat at an empty table that had a clear view of Lauren but as the bar had more and more people coming in my view of her was going. I went and sat closer, it was almost one, two more hours till it shut. Screw it I’m talking to her. I walked up to the bar, “Lauren!” She either couldn’t hear me or she was very good at hiding that she could. She couldn’t ignore me if I was asking for a drink. She got to me “What would you like?” No emotion to her voice “To talk to you,”

“Sorry we don’t serve that here,” She was gonna play it like that huh? “Okay five tequila shots please.”
