"Maya," Zay said breaking me away from my thoughts.

"Huh what," I said.

"Riley asked why your talking to me but you were lost in your thoughts again so you didn't answer," Charlie said, as he tired not to look directly at Lucas and Riley.

"Oh right sorry Riley," I said, as I tried to think of an answer.

"Its okay so why are you talking to Charlie again," She asked as she tilted her head at me.

"Yeah you guys don't normally talk to each other," Farkle said.

"Yeah why are you talking to the Creepy Creep Creep," He that shouldn't be named said.

"We just started to talk and we found that we had a lot in common thats all," Charlie answered for me, as he looked at me.

I sent him a look that said thank you.

"Awkward," Zay said trying to break the tension, but all he got was a slap on the arm from me and a look that said shut up from Charlie, and an elbow to the stomach from him as well.

"Hey Maya, can I talk to you," Farkle asked.

"Great let's go," he said before I could answer and he grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the classroom and into the hallway.

"What was that about," I asked once we came to a stop outside away from the classroom so nobody can hear us. We sat down on a bench near the lockers with a window looking outside.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"For what," I asked staring at him.

"For forgetting about your feelings, last time, you know on the roof," He said as he looked at me guilty.

"It's okay, in the end you just saved me from a lot"

"But you like him," he said.

"Well yeah I do, but I also know that Riley likes him, and I know that deep down I knew that I just wanted a chance with the guy I like, but above all else I know he likes, or loves her and I just want him and Riley to be happy. I mean isn't that what your doing?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

"I have no idea what you mean," He says trying not to look at me in the eyes and he started to stare outside.

"I know you Farkle, I know that you say you love us both but you love Riley more, just like Lucas. And because you love her so much and since your such a great friend to Lucas, you let them be together, so they can be happy. And I know you like Smackle enough to try and fall in love with her, thats why your with her," I said.

"Yeah your right we both stepped back," He said to me as he turned around.

"Yep because we are great friends," I said to him.

"So what are you going to do now?" he said with a raise brow.

"I'm going to try and forget. I'm going to focus on my art and I'll get into music, too. And I might try and look for a guy that will care about me and like me more than Riley, if that doesn't sound a least bit selfish," I said mumbling the last bit so he doesn't hear.

"What about Charlie?"

"If you think I like him in that way then your wrong," I said to him threateningly.
