Revenge: The Journey Continues

Chapter 3: Adapting

I stand there, my shoulders flesh searing as he releases his teeth from my tissue. He looks at me with a devilish smile and blood drips from his lips into his chin. I whimper and gasp for breath as the burning increases and feels like it's eating away at my skin. "Now you can be a werewolf like me", he says smirking with blood-stained lips. Suddenly I feel my strength regain as I pull at my chains and they break.

I then feel myself shrink and I grow two new legs and see a pure white fur cover what once was my skin. Canines sprout from my once human teeth and I see him transform into a black wolf with a white streak down his nose. As soon as he sees me his eyes widen. "Follow me", he says in a stunned voice. I follow him into another room and he gestures to a mirror and I look in it.

In front of me I see a beautiful white wolf with a red streak going from tail to nose. When I realize it is me I stand there in shock.

I lose my temper and lunge for the boy. I bite into his neck and realize if I continue I will kill him. I then release my hold and he stumbles back growling at me. I then bolt out of the room and find the nearest exit. The only problem is it's not an exit, it leads to the castle. Guards chase after me and I speed through the enormous castle only to find hundreds of doors, but no way out.

I ran from room to room until I was cornered by the guards. Since I was still in wolf form I decided to attack them. Leaping at them I killed the first guard and then tripped another and got myself uncornered. I slide on the oak wood floor and the guards transform into enormous wolves, being stronger than me and ganging on me with great speed.

Finally, I stumble upon the castle exit and I push through the door and into the bright sunlight and thick forest.

I know this chapter is short but it's still good...right? Anyways, next chapter will be longer. If you guys want to you can post ideas for chapters and I will dedicate the chapter to whoever's idea I use. Btw my zombie book isn't out anymore I erased it because I was working on this.
