Revenge: The Journey Continues

Chapter 4: Struggling

I frantically dodge thick trees and weave through fallen branches. The guards are to big to fit through the small curves that I can get through. They fall behind and I hide inside a small den of an unknown animal. They pass me and I sigh in relief. Suddenly, I hear snarling from behind me. I look to see a

wolverine looking at me with gritted canines. Remembering that I'm a wolf I snarl back at it, slowly approach it and stare at it with my teeth clenched and my eyes narrowed. It then scurries deep into the hole and makes itself invisible.

After about 20 minutes of waiting I walk out of the den and begin to walk, hoping to find somewhere to take shelter. I walk for over an hour and begin to get thirsty and hungry. I abandoned all of my weapons and supplies at the castle. I then feel myself changing. My fur disappears and my canines shorten back to human teeth. I turn back to my human self and see a large wolf bite in my shoulder. I feel it burning and I can't move.

I lie there in pain and I begin to wish I was back with the strange boy in the warm castle. They would've helped me and I wouldn't be in such pain. Hour after our I begin to get hungrier and thirstier. I wince in pain after every movement. Tears then begin to fill my eyes and I fall to the ground and sob until my eyes are puffy and red like a tomato. My heart begins to pound as I breath heavily and sob into the dead leaves on the forest floor.

I then hear rustling. It's loud and something is slowly approaching me. I then huddle into the leaves and wait for the thing to come into view. It's human, and a familiar face appears out of the darkness, pointing a spear at me and looking at me with wide eyes. It's....him...it......can't be though.

Hello readers! I know this chapter is short but I couldn't make it longer... I ran out of time. Anyways I think I will make all the chapters short, therefore having a longer book. Thanx for reading guys and I hope you guys like the book.
