After using it, I wait, I wait for it to either show a plus sign, or a minus sign. I wait eagerly for a few seconds, and a positive pops up, and I go dizzy, and fall to the floor with a loud crash from a few bottles falling from the counter. Jeremy hears it and runs into the bathroom, looking down to see me on the floor, my back against the wall, and staring blankly at our tile floor.

"What happened? Are you okay?"

"Jeremy, I'm pregnant."

"Really", a large grin spreads across his face and he sits next to me, still smiling, then his smile disappears when he sees my expression.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm scared Jeremy. What if the alpha female kills it? What is she kills us and it's an orphan?"

"She won't. We won't let that happen."

I think about what he said, believing it, then dropping my head onto his shoulders and saying nothing.

"C'mon Erica, we should get you to the doctor, we need to let him check things out."

"Ok, let me get ready, I'll meet you in the car."

"Ok. I love you."

"I love you to Jeremy"

As Jeremy walks out I grab my hair tie and put in in a bun, then I quickly brush my teeth and grab my purse. I fiddle through my purse, trying to find some chap stick, but then I see something, a little piece of paper neatly folded. I grab it and open it, reading the neatly written text;

Dear Erica,

Did you really think that the last time you would see me is at that train station? I will always be watching you. I am learning your weaknesses. I will break you, I will hurt you, but I won't kill you. Although, I will kill everything you love, Jeremy, and if you get pregnant, than your little child to. Who is this you may ask. It's Janice, otherwise known as the Alpha female you hate so much. I will get you, but you will never see it coming.

- Janice

I need to tell Jeremy. No I can't, what if he gets hurt? I won't, at least not yet.

As we walk in the room the doctor motions to where I need to sit. I nod and place myself in the instructed spot.

"Lay down", the doctor commands in a kind tone.

I do as I am told and he rubs a warm gel over my stomach. Then he take a sort of machine and places it over my stomach.

"It's a boy", is all he says and smiles at me.
