They Have begun the game, and chat is excited, and Snake feels like he's doing a pretty goof job at being a DM. Everyone is completely in love with the quest, and he is making sure to let them do their thing.
Then a comment appears in chat: "I thought you would have used the old tavern, Snake. That one was good."
He knows it is Canis, as they are the only person who he's talked to about his maps. But the But the name says LoneCoyote7. The same person, and he is struck a rising respect for her, and he answers.
Snake: The old tavern was a bit to small for this game, Coyote. I decided to go with this one, because it was a little bit better of a setting.
Coyote: Fair enough. You're doing a good job.
Snake: Thanks.
If the LNC members are surprised at their camaraderie, they don't show it, and they continue for another hour. From then on, when Snake and Canis talk, he calls her Coyote.
