Today is all about school. Gotta get new clothes, a new haircut, a new backpack, just for school. I like new. Makes me feel up to date.

I'm at the hair stylist now waiting for her to get Mom and me from the waiting room for the appointment. I want something new, not for back to school, but to just feel a little different. Right now my hair is shaved on the left side and long (to the middle of my neck) on the right. I want to change it up some, but I don't know exactly to what. I'll explain to the stylist and hopefully she thinks of something.

We're going back home after to pick up Karin and Michele and then heading to Kohls to get us clothes and shoes. I really need a new pair of shoes because all the shoes I have are all torn up and tattered. If we don't find a good deal on them then I probably won't get a new pair and just have to wear what's left of my shoes.

Mom, Renee, Karin, Michele, and I are on our way to kohls now.

I like my haircut but I don't know exactly how to style it. My dad says I look like a 16 year old boy.

We just got done shopping. Renee obviously got the most but Karin came into a close second. Michelle only got a couple of things and paid for them herself since she graduated last year, she has no need to go back to school shopping. I got the least of all of them but oh well. I got a David Bowie tank top, a pair of black keds shoes, socks, and some underwear. I really wanted to get a sports bra since almost all of the bras and sports bras I have are all too big or too small, minus like, 2 that I wear that fit me somewhat. So that's a little annoying but we don't have that much money to spend on me anyway.

Serenity came by earlier but didn't stay for long. Not even 10 minutes. I really wanted to talk about what happened between us. Let me explain.

She was dropping hints to me and even explained the situation of how she liked this girl but wasn't sure how to tell her. I understood that she was talking about me but I didn't know what to say. She kept getting more and more obvious. So I told her I had feelings for her too and also more than a friend and so on. I'm still not sure if those were feelings just because she said she liked me but if I truly appreciated her in that way. Luckily, it wasn't awkward at all after that. It just felt natural.

I still want to talk to her in person about it. Maybe after school on the first day when we planned on going to a photo booth to do like almost a time lapse for all the breaks (spring, fall, winter, summer). Maybe then we can talk.

All I've been doing tonight is watching Jane the Virgin with Mom and Michelle. I went to the room I share with Karin. While I was taking the glasses of her face she woke groggy. She smiles from ear to ear and kept repeating "hey" to me while embracing me and not letting go. After 30 seconds of that she loosened her hold on me and went back to sleep with the widest grin on her face. I wish she were always like that, nice and groggy. Basically like she were drunk.

Anyways I'm laying in bed and should probably sleep so good night.
