Chapter 9

Audrey's p.o.v

"Are you excited to be leaving" the nurse asked me. "Ya I just wanna lay in my bed" I smiled and closed my eyes for a second.

"So do I, but I still have 5 more hours here. Your clothes are just over there do you need help getting to the washroom?" She asked me.

"Oh no I'm fine thankyou" I smiled. She handed me my crutches and left the room.

I went over to the counter to grab my clothes, than made my way to the washroom. Once I was done, my mom took me home.

"Alright if there's anything I can get you, just ring the bell" my mom said and I laughed a little. "Mom there's no need for the bell I'll be just fine" I said.

"I just want to make sure you're okay at all times" she said and sighed. I smiled at her and she left my room. I opened my laptop and decided to go online shopping. I first checked brandy Melville, they had a lot of stuff I wanted.

I ended spending $85 but on the bright side I get free shipping. I typed American eagle on my computer and went on their website. "Hey Audrey i forgot to get dinner, so I'll be back in 10-15 minutes" my mom said standing at my door.

"Okay" I said. "Now call me if anything" she said. "Of course!" I smiled. I went back to my shopping, a few seconds later I heard the door slam. Meaning my mom had just left.

"Oooh this is cute" I said tapping my nail on the screen. "Totally get this, and sold to the lady laying in her bed" I said in a different tone towards the end.

Even though I'm online shopping I'm bored. My bill was already $127 so I decided to get one more thing and stop. I clicked on these denim ripped skinny jeans and just as I did. That the doorbell rang.

That was cool. I grabbed my crutches and made my way to the stairs. I was thinking about going down, but the door was open. "Uh, uhm come in, I guess" I said. The person on the other side of the door laughed.

I put my hand on my forehead, "why would you say I guess?" I whispered and rolled my eyes. "What, Hunter?" I said with a confused look on my face. "Hey can we talk?" He asked. "No, no we can't talk" I said stuttering. I walked back to my room, I closed the door but Hunter stopped it from closing with his hand.

"What do you want, can you not wait til I get back to school so you can abuse me" I said and sat on my bed. "No, that's not why I came" he said and I laughed. "Oh you actually wanna talk? That's funny" I said.

"Okay just hear me out please" he begged me. "No why should I listen to you, you're a horrible person and I could care less about anything you have to say to me" I said and stroked my hair.

"Look I know I've done bad things to you, but can you give me a chance" he asked. "No, leave me alone. That's all I want and I don't want to ever hear from you again" I said and started crying. "But Audrey I just wanna be your frie-" I cut him off.

"No, you don't have that choice anymore. You never will, so stay the hell away from me and get out of my house" I yelled and Hunter was shock.

"But why?" He stuttered. "You really wanna know why? Because you've been putting me through hell and misery" I muttered through my teeth.

"Audrey, what's going on" my mom asked. She came running to my room. "What're you doing, I'm calling the cops!" My mom said and pulled out her phone. "Mom stop, he's just leaving and he won't be coming back" I said.

"Listen to me, I don't want you ever coming back to my house and if I do see you" she muttered through her teeth holding hunters shirt.

"I will, calling the cops on you. So get out of my house" she yelled and pushed him towards the door. "Yes ma'am" he said and ran outside.

She exhaled "Now, dinner will be ready in half an hour" she smiled and brushed herself off, leaving my room. I nodded my head.

I've never seen that woman go so psycho, my eyes popped for a second.

My phone and laptop started ringing. It was a face time call from Blake

"Hey, I've bee calling you for the longest when'd you get out" he asked. "Oh, sorry but today" I said. "How're you feeling" he asked me. "I've been better" I said and we laughed for a second.

"When're you coming back to school" he asked me. "Once I'm off my crutches, my mom doesn't think it's safe for me to go, mainly because of Hunter" I said and Blake nodded his head.

"Oh wow, I'm going to miss you" he smiled. "You are" I smiled, probably blushing. "Ya I am" he smiled. "Could you do me a favour actually" I asked him.

"Oh, ya, anything" he said. "Can you get my homework while I'm gone from our English and science teacher" I asked. He agreed to do it and we kept talking until I got called to have dinner.

"Thanks for dinner mom, everything was delicious!' I smiled. "No problem" she smiled. "Goodnight I love you both" I said hugging my parents.

"Night" my dad said as well as my mom.

It was only 7:30pm but I've been really stressed out and I start to over stress when I'm bored, so I decided to go to sleep.
