Chapter 21

Hunters pov

"Audrey" I said shaking her body. She wouldn't respond or even move.

"Someone, call the ambulance" I yelled, and was shaking a bit. I wanted to be a better person and show Audrey that I'm the one for her, but no of course I abuse her again.

"What happened" someone asked me. "I don't know" I said putting both my hands on my head, pulling my hair. "Is she going to be okay" a girl asked. "I-I- I don't know okay, leave me alone!" I yelled and ran out of the house.

Audrey's pov

"What do we have here" someone said, I couldn't see them. "Uh patient fell? Is what someone told me she isn't responding or moving, pulse is still moving, possibly a coma", a different voice was speaking "Okay take her to the Er, I'll run some tests"

Did they just say I was in a coma, probably Hunters fault, and after he was telling me how much he wanted to be with me. He'll never end this, and that's the reason I won't ever be with him. I liked him for the longest time. I mean I wanted to find someone to get over him, and I did and I'm so happy with Cameron it's just. Maybe I still like Hunter after all the abuse.

So I wouldn't say I'll never be with him, because maybe one day he'll get better and actually love me and want to be with me.

I heard the doctors voice come back around. "How old is she" the doctor asked the nurse "uh she's 16 only child, has both mom and dad, I should go make the call" she answered.

"Thankyou, and where are the results I don't know what's wrong with her and I need to know now" she hustled the nurse

"I'll go grab them" she said. "Ok great" and they both walked off.

I couldn't stay up anymore, I was getting kinda tired and its not like I had anything better to do so I went to bed.

I woke up to someone holding my hand. It could either be Hunter or Cameron. I actually want to hear Hunters lousy excuse on why he did this to me, lately he always has one.

"heyy Audrey, it's me cam". Okay Cameron, I don't mind. "Whoever did this to you I'm going to hurt them so bad, because you don't deserve this one bit and I'll make sure they now that" he said and he squeezed my hand a bit more.

But wait Hunter and Cameron fighting, by the end of that fight, at least I won't be the only one in a coma. I heard the nurses voice from down the hall. "She's just over here, on your left". Who could it be Hunter, my friends or parents- a voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Audrey" hunters voice said lightly. "Oh, hi" he said, probably talking to Cameron. "Hey I'm Cameron, who are you" he asked. "Hunter, Hunter Rowland. Audrey's friend. Are you her friend or"- Cameron cut him off "her boyfriend" he said.

"Ohh, I see. Yea we're just close friends, from school" Hunter mentioned. "Oh nice" Cameron said. "Uh I'll be back" Cameron said letting go of my hand. As he left I felt hunters hand grab my right hand. Oh great.

"Audrey I'm really sorry about this, I'm such an ass for doing this I just. I love you so much and after all I did to you, you probably don't believe it"- Cameron came back into the room cutting Hunter off. "Forgot my phone, wait what'd you just say?" He asked, you could tell he was getting angry.

There was silence in the room. "You did this to her" he asked Hunter. "Look I really do care about her we just got ourselves into something-" Hunter replied. "I can't believe you" Cameron said as his voice got louder. I heard someone run, and then I heard sounds of someone getting beat up.

I mean whoever it was I felt really bad.

Hunters pov

I wasn't going to let Cameron do this I started punching and kicking back, I know I deserve it but it doesn't mean I'm going to take it, especially from him.

I finally had him in place I was beating him so hard, his nose was dripping and his eye was starting to get darker. It didn't last for long. He grabbed my shirt and swung me into the wall and kicked me constantly right where it would hurt.

I tried to get up but he kept kicking me down. I laid there feeling worthless, just as he turned around I ran to him and out him in a head lock. But this time he was the one being pulled over into the wall and he stayed there, since his head was stuck in it.

I started punching him constantly, the nurse came in and started yelling. As she was trying to stop me as I was punching Cameron. My elbow went right into her jaw, making her stubble back a bit. I'm calling the police she said and ran out. Cameron came out and still had the nerve to fight me.

"Police! keep your hands where I can-" he paused. "Hunter!" He said, it was my dad. "What the hell" he yelled. He walked in and slammed the door behind him. "You're so lucky I was called in, are you trying to not have a future. This could've been on your record" he said wanting to yell, but whispered.

He handcuffed us both and brought us to the car. As I was in the car I was thinking. Did I honestly fight this guy as Audrey was in a coma. I'm such a horrible person I thought.

"Dad where are you taking us?" I asked. "just shut up" he said though his gritted teeth.

We ended up bringing Cameron home. My dad talked to his parents for hours and finally came back into the car. Then minutes later, he brought me home.

"I- I don't even know where to start" my dad said and here's where the lecture began and where my life ended. My life is probably over along with my social life and at this point I didn't care one bit. I was just upset about this whole thing.
