It’s already December. A few months has gone by since Matthew proposed to me. Today is a very special day for all of us, especially for Ethan and Hayley because today is their wedding day.
Everyone is busy with the last minute preparations. My mother, I and Yaya Elma are having our hair and make-up done while dad is having his nails polished. Rockstar is already prepared for the wedding. I bought him a formal dog wear that suits the event. Ethan chose Rockstar to be the ring-bearer. He got the idea from Matthew’s proposal and me being Rockstar’s stage-mom. I agreed to Ethan’s idea.
After a few hours, finally, everyone is already set. I’m wearing a white flowy tube gown with a studded diamond belt. I’m also wearing a white head dress that matches the gown. It was really simple but elegant at the same time. My mom is wearing a structured gown with silver bead details while my dad kept it simple with a black tuxedo. Yaya Elma is wearing a white long dress with a beautiful pearl brooch. My mom gave it to her as a present.
At the church, I saw Ethan and his parents together. Some of the visitors already arrived as well.
“Ethan, congratulations” My father greeted and gave Ethan a little tap on his shoulder.
“Thanks uncle” Ethan replied.
“Tiffany, why don’t you greet your uncle and auntie” My dad encouraged.
“Yes, it’s nice to see you uncle, auntie.” I greeted and kissed them.
“I heard that you’re also getting married” Uncle Elvis said.
“I’m already engaged but no definite plans yet” I happily informed them. “But I’ll definitely let you know once we already have a plan”
“Hey Elvis, why don’t we talk over there?” My dad invited. They went to the other side of the church and talked with our other relatives while my mom and Ethan’s mom chatted with each other.
Now, I’m left with Ethan alone. Finally, I can get to talk to him and greet him personally.
“Ethan, finally, your long wait is over. Are you happy?” I asked.
“Of course, I am” He said with the most sincere smile I’ve ever seen coming from him.
“I’m happy for you too. Best wishes, Ethan” I said and gave him a little tap on the back.
“Thank you so much, Tiffany” He said and then he embraced me.
I’m really happy for Ethan. Finally, he’s going to settle down. Ethan’s not growing any younger anyway. It’s about time for him to get married. I’m also happy that he found a kind girl in the personality of Hayley. Both of them are perfect for each other. I admire them so much. They’re such a good couple. They deserve to be happy.
I was waiting for the bridal car by the entrance of the church. Some of the other guests started arriving. Dennis arrived a few minutes after we arrived. He’s wearing a black suit matched with a silver tie. His golden hair is neatly combed and waxed up.
“Hey Tiff.” He greeted
“It’s nice to see you” I said.
“Where’s Ethan?” He asked.
“By the altar” I said.
“I see. Thanks. I’m going to greet him first.” He said and then off he goes.
After a few minutes more, I saw the Murray’s car arrived. I saw Aunt Melissa and Uncle Vincent climbed down the car. Matthew followed afterwards.
