third person's pov
"i'm bored," groaned harold as he rolled over on top of rose, her immediately groaning at the extra weight.
"harry, get off!" she heaved out.
"but there's nothing to do!"
"then do something!"
harry huffed and got up from his comfortable seat on rose, "i'm going to amanda's."
"okay, i'm coming with you," rose shot up, she felt herself getting excited because she'd see me. irwin.
"can your mom drive us?"
"she's working."
"right," harold slipped on his converse, "well, come on, we can take the trolley."

"i'm bored here too," harold sighed. "i'm starting to miss school."
amanda rolled her ears and chuckled, "you hated school and never went when given the chance."
"true, but still!" harold exclaimed as he hopped up from his seat on the couch.
"can you stop screaming harold? i'm trying to watch 9 to 5," rose said as she picked up the remote.
"bored 9 to 5, what a way to waste my life. barely having fun, it's all--"
harold was cut off by rose who groaned, shooting up from her seat and walking to the hall, "harry if you don't calm down by the time i get back i'm going to--" she paused, thinking of a threat.
"no threat huh?" harold teased.
amanda let out a small laugh and turned to her girlfriend, "could you get me some water and lemon while you're in my kitchen pretty please?"
as rose walked closer towards the kitchen she heard the faint sound of voices and the clatter of plates.
"beth, please be practical."
"no ashton, you need to--"
the voices cut off as soon as mr. and mrs. irwin saw rose shyly walk in.
"i'm sorry, was i interrupting something?" rose spoke as she shook her head so her bangs would remove themselves from in front of her eyes.
"no," beth gave her a small smile, hoping it could mask whatever expression she was just feeling. "no, you weren't interrupting anything. now," she put down the broken china, "if you'll excuse me, i have to go get something to clean this up with." beth tugged down her apron and walked out of the kitchen, her heels echoing a "clack" sound as she walked up the stairs.
ashton sighed and looked at rose with sympathetic eyes, "i'm very sorry, it's just a few problems. parent problems, it happen's with everyone. did your parents ever--"
rose quickly shook her head, "i'm not sure, i was young when my father passed but my mom speaks so passionately about him whenever he's brought up, so," rose trailed off and kept her eyes from ashton's.
he cleared his throat, wishing he could make rose forget the scene she walked in on. "did you--did you need anything?"
