Today is Friday and all week I have been working hard to take my mind off of Darren.
I left work earlier than usual.
When I got home I took a shower and put on some leggings and a oversized shirt that I bought from Wal-Mart because Darren would never let me wear any of his clothes.
To finish off my look I slipped my feet into some fuzzy socks. I walked downstairs and ordered some Chinese food as I waited for the girls to come.
I also called my personal shopper to buy some candy and drinks. The girls arrived after the food was ordered.
"Hey everybody" I said as they all walked in.
"Ayye girl" they all said.
"I ordered some candy and drinks and Chinese food." I said sitting on the couch.
"Okay that's wassup sis but some news." My little sister Faith said as she sat on the couch beside me.
"Okay tell us" Kelly said.
We always wait until Friday to tell everybody the drama that is going on unless it is major and we need back up.
"Okay so we got this new student and auntie made me show him around."
Let me tell you he is fine as hell and funny he makes me laugh and we have some classes together and we have nicknames for each other," Faith said blushing.
"Awwww my baby" I said pinching her cheeks.
"Stop now tell your news,"she said laughing and swatting my hands away.
"Well other than my break up with Darren a guy that asked for a merger with my company and I agreed now I have a new business partner" I said.
"I know that's not all and I'm so glad." Tia said.
I laughed.
"Okay so he was fine asf he had a nice new Orleans accent curly hair and nice jaw line with his caramel colored skin."
He was so orgasmic and y'all were right I need to break up with his rude cheating ass." I said
"Oooh okay baybeh," Tia said in her new Orleans accent impression.
We all laughed then the food got here.
After getting the food we ate and talked and watched some movies. When we finished our movie we all went to our rooms.
Tia and Kelly have rooms reserved for them when they come over and so do we when we go to there house.
As soon as I laid down I fell asleep.
The next day I got up showered.
I looked at my phone and saw I had a text from Darren so I called him.
Phone conversation:
Darren why the fuck you still texting my phone,I asked in a calm voice.
Because I want to apologize to you face to face
Since I am in a good mood I'm going to hear you out but if you try anything I'm murking that ass
Okay meet me at Ihop
Ight.
End of conversation
I put a a pink fitted dress on and black heels. I did my makeup which consisted of foundation,mascara,and red lipstick.
Then I had my hair in its curly state then grabbed my phone,keys,and purse. I went to the kitchen and got something to drink.
"Where you going" they all said looking at me confused
"Don't worry if I'm not back in 30 minutes or less you know what to do. I said they all understood.
I went outside to my car and drove to Ihop and said a prayer. When I got inside I was greeted by a nice Caucasian lady with blue hair she made it work.
"Hi welcome to ihop" she said smiling.
"Hi is there a reservation for a Mr.Darren" I said smiling at her.
"Yes this way ma'am "she said leading me to a where Darren sat.
When he saw me his eyes lit up with shock. Probably thought I wasn't going to show.I sat down in the booth in front of him.
"You look beautiful" he said.
"I always look beautiful now come on with this apology.
"Okay I'm sorry for cheating on you I was caught up in the moment," He said lying.
"Negro shut up you lying bastard. look I forgive you not cause of that sorry ass apology because I need to let go of this and move past it." I said not caring about his bullshit excuse or apology.
"I really am but you wouldn't give me your virginity so I found someone to help my needs which was wrong but I'm sorry please take me back" He said.
"Like I said early I forgive you but we need to move on you'll find someone who will actually care about you more than I did and I need the same," I said softly feeling tears swell my eyes.
"I understand" He said and we got up and hugged then went our separate ways.
