Chapter 21

4 years later- Justice POV
"Nicki baby where you daddy at?" I asked my 3 old daughter as I walked in the house.

"Mama him sleep." She said while playing with her blocks.

I'm going to have to beat his ass for leave my baby unattended. I picked my little princess up and we went the kitchen.

"You wanna help mama cook tonight Nicki baby?" I said kissing her little cheeks.

"Yes mama lets make some chicken casswole." She said excitedly.

I smiled happily. "Anything for mamas baby."

I set my daughter down with her blocks and locked the front door. "August where you at." I yelled.

He ran in moments later. "Hey baby." He stated about to kiss me. I mushed his head before walking back into the kitchen.

"Where the heck you been? You look like you been sleeping while my baby been in here by herself." I prodded with angrily while lightly hitting his chest .

"Bruh relax don't worry about it she was fine." He said pushing my arms away.

That's the first time he's touched me in a while all we been doing is arguing. It's been quite lonely though my mama and Faith gone and Tia been busy with her family all I have is my baby now. My mama and Faith and Kelly m had moved because Faith got tired of the city after her incident.

Flashback
"Mama it's all my fault I can't believe she ended her life I wasn't there for her I was too wrapped up in my life and now she is gone." I stated crying deeply in my hands.

I've been a mess since Faith ended her life. As soon as my mama was about to speak there was a deep hard knock on the door.

I opened it and it revealed a nicely dress dark skin man. His body was a whole canvas of beautiful ink marking and his hair was in dreads. He was quite attractive I couldn't quite see his eyes because of the sunglasses that covered them.

"Hello yes can I help you sir." I said softly.

"I have some people that belong to you." He said in a deep raspy voice that sent shivers to my body.

"Who coul-." Before I could finish Kelly and Faith walked in to my vision.

"Faith?" I whispered as tears flowed down my face.

"Sissy!" She yelled running to my arms.

I quickly hugged her and Kelly and pulled them inside the house my mom, Tia,Chris, and August all joined in.

Once the welcoming back was over we all sat down and the mystery man who I later found out name is Dewayne explained everything that happened.

"Thank you for rescuing them." I said and I hugged his slightly taller figure.

As I was hugging him I felt sparks of electricity run through my body from contact. I pulled away quickly slightly blushing.

"Sorry I'm greatful she is home." I said shyly.

He smirked. My mom then later made dinner for everyone and we all ended the night sleeping over my house except for Dewayne who left after dinner.

End of flashback

I am glad they moved away we also got them set up with therapist and security that they both agreed would be fine they are going to need it. Kelly is starting a music career and Faith is acting with Disney channel they will most definitely need protection.

Nothings been the same with me and August after I had his child he' s been distant and we haven't even been sleeping together now.

After she made dinner.

Once I finished dinner I made a plate for everyone and set the table. Soon as we all finished eating I cleaned up and then put my baby to sleep.

I decided maybe I could get sexy for August we haven't had sex in a year. I quickly took a shower and changed into some sexy red lingerie then headed to the room he sleeps in.

"Hey daddy." I said in the doorway. He looked at me with disgust before laughing.

"Girl go on with that." He said before typing away on his phone.

"What's wrong with you! Like nigga do you not fucking want me if so say that shit!" I half yelled while getting in his face.

He slapped me and then began punching and kicking me repeatedly.

"Actually no I don't want you after you had that baby you got a little weight put on. I want a divorce.

I got a new girl and she got an amazing body she don't want kids either. I don't want to do this with you no more so you gonna sign these papers then you got 30 days to take yo kid and get out my damn house. Our lawyers arranged it so you'll  have your company but the house is mine but you can keep the car." He declared sticking a paper and pen in my face.

As hot tears fell down my face I sighed the divorce paper and limped out of the room to my child's room. I packed a bag of stuff she needed, clothes, shoes, hair care stuff, two of her favorite toys, and a few other things before going to my room and packing some things.

Taking my still sleeping baby I loaded out stuff and her into the car. I sob lightly Tia was out of town on a family trip so I texted one person who I've been getting close with that I knew would help.

An hour later I was at their front door with my stuff and my baby. After knocking they opened the door and immediately took my bags before letting me inside.

"Here y'all Can sleep in this guest room we will do more talking in the morning get some rest." His raspy voice stated as he placed my bags in a room.

"Thanks Dewayne."
