Faith's POV
It been two weeks since Truth beat me. This bitch ass nigga really think I'm scared ha TUH.
My father used to be the head of one of the best gangs in the city. After my my mom shot him and got locked up they agreed to protect me and my family.
Sounds weird but my father's gang members loved us they loved my father and my mother but they knew what he put her through all most the same shit Truth think he gonna do to me.
Despite what my father did he still was a good father he had anger problems but still he had no right to hurt my mom like that.
But anyways I've been talking to them and we have been planning something if he get out of line. But sent them to tell him some rules.
If he doesn't abide by the rules he going to face the consequences.
It's harsh but mama ain't raise a bitch nor did my granny or sister who also raised me.
Enough of that currently I was getting for my sister's bridal shower.
She had moved the wedding to and earlier date so she will actually be getting married in 2 more weeks.
After I finished getting dressed up me, Kelly, Tia, my mom and granny got in the limo with my sister, Sean, and Chris, and Anthony to head to the venue.
We were laughing and joking around.
"So Faith why didn't you invite Truth?" my Sean asked.
My granny and mom rolled their eyes. "Because we broke up,"I said nonchalantly.
"About damn time." My granny said. I laughed
"I know right," I said. Kelly was the only one who knew why and what I was planning.
I didn't want to bother everybody with what happened. But if somebody asks I might.
"What happened though, because if he hurt you I'm gonna beat his ass" Sean said seriously.
How ironic. Well here goes nothing.
"Actually, he did" I said.
"What he do?!" everybody except Kelly said angrily.
"Don't over react I got it covered"I said ignoring their questions.
Kelly spoke up and began explaining everything that he did. "What!! Oh fuck no stop this car I'm bussing a cap in his ass!" my mom yelled angrily.
Everybody agreed all angry even Kelly.
I shook my head. "Y'all calm down I got Jerry and Rufus from dad's old gang to help if he mess up and try to hurt me."I said.
"So we all need to relax and celebrate the beautiful almost newly weds" I said smiling.
My sister frowned. "How could I not know this was happening." She said tears threatening to spill.
"Sissy it's okay when been through a lot of shit together and we both are strong, I'm strong you should know you practically raised me alongside granny." I said as I went to hug her.
She hugged me and kissed my face
"I love you lil stinka, she said and we all hugged.
"Y'all we at the venue lets say a quick prayer then go in and have a good ass time with the folks." Chris said low-key wiping tears off his face.
We all chuckled.
Then granny led us in prayer then we got out the limo. Causally posing for the paparazzi that was outside.
