Zachary’s POV:
The week went by fast. Every time there would be a crime, it’d be solved long before I got there. Pink-Laser had made it her job to exceed me.
She grew more and more famous. Her name was on the headlines instead of mine. To the point when I decided, I would be taking a break from school. She had an advantage; I doubted she went to school. If I took a little break, then I could at least get my game back on.
I took a trip to the police department at midnight. I walked in suavely and asked the head desk to speak with the chief.
He agreed and let me in to the chief’s office.
Oh wait, Confused on why the police didn’t arrest me? Ha. That’s the funny part.
Right when I got in there all police officers pointed their guns toward me. I used the force of the air around them to shift the guns so they were facing towards the officer. Each and every officer’s weapon faced towards their own face. In Shock, They could not do anything to hurt me. I took this to my advantage and went to the one man who didn’t hurt me. I sat on the chair, emitting an air of cool.
He pointed to the chiefs office stuttering as he gave me the instructions “Right-uh down over there- an-and you-you take a-a le- left.” The police officer said. I smiled at him, trying to hint to him that I wasnt Darth-Vader status.
I followed his instructions and sat down in the chief’s chair.
“He’ll be right in in a minute.” Came a voice from the hall.
2 minutes later, the head officer came in and sat down in front of me.
“Yes, son?” He said.
“I need help.”
“Pink-laser, huh?” The officer said, reading my mind.
I curtly nodded.
At this point he slid over a box. “Take this son. It’s a radio that tells you what’s wrong. It has access to all video cams on the streets, stores, homes, anything. You’ll know when there’s trouble before it happens.” He smiled a toothy grin.
I smiled back. “Thanks, officer. I appreciate the fact that you didn’t shoot me dead the minute you saw me.” I replied.
“Son, I know when someone’s a hero or when someone’s a villain. I wouldn’t be where I am now, If I didn’t have the gift of judgment.” He said, as he got up and opened his window.
“Now, shoo. Before the S.W.A.T team gets in here to dissect you.” The officer said.
With a nod in his direction, I jumped out the window, and threw a smoke bomb in the air. Just in case he was going to see what direction I went.
When I got to a desolate rooftop, I opened the box. Inside of it, was a watch like I had. But this one was more advanced. It had a screen like a normal watch but when you clicked the sides you can see whenever there’s any movement on the streets, or outside houses. This was cool. But aint nobody got time to scroll through each and every movement. It was boring, and a yawn-fest, so I put it on auto.
It beeped whenever there was serious movement. This was more helpful then catching movements of leaves.
At the bottom of the watch was a tracking chip. I knew it was there. But I left it in. I trusted that chief with all my heart. Like him, I had the gift of judgment. Or err-well sort of. I don’t know, I’m usually wrong. But this time…I’m sure I’m not. I hope.
I was going to beat Pink-lasers ass. She better watch it.
