Zachary POV
The next morning I awoke with a splitting head-ache and sore body. I groaned as I sat up. I looked around me. Somehow I had gotten home safely.
Man...What happened last night?
Suddenly it all came rushing back to me… the dream, the alcohol, Pink-laser!
I can’t believe I’d done that.
I kissed her.
“Shit.” I cursed as I caught a whiff of my stench. I smelled like alcohol, and despair. Fucking gross.
I ran into the bathroom and shut the door behind me.

After I got out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and went up to my suitcase. That day when I ran from home, I had nowhere else to be, so I ran over here with all the belongings I had left. And from that day on, I’d lived in a rented apartment/motel. And let me tell you, it sucked.
I looked through my things, not finding much to wear. I had a lot of money that I had inherited from the loss of my parents. I was filthy rich, only problem was…I hated shopping.
I sighed and pulled on a gray t-shirt and some jeans. I put on my pumas and dragged a brush through my hair. A sprinkle of cologne and I was off for the day.
I ran outside, enjoying the sunny weather and the light breeze. I smiled to myself, no more weak me. I was being pathetic last night, and it won’t ever happen again.
I opened the door to my convertible BMW, the last gift from my deceased parents, and drove to the mall.
I stood outside the door, frowning, and opened the door; it was going to be a long day.
2 hours later I had enough clothes to start my own freaking business. I was done with shopping for forever, I thought to myself as I pulled into the driveway. A newspaper lay by my door. I picked it up and read the headline. ‘Budding romance between PL and The Mist’. The newspaper fell from my grasp and hit the floor. Oh fuck.

Selena’s POV
He wasn’t here. He hadn’t been for 3 days. I was worried, what if he had regretted his decision to reveal his identity?
No, I told myself, he wouldn’t regret that. He must like me, I mean. At least a little bit, right?
“SELENA!!” Came a voice from down the hall.
The shriek was accompanied by my two best friends running frantically and coming to a halt before me.
They gasped as they tried to tell me some ‘urgent sounding’ news. I tried to make out what they were saying but I got nothing, nada.
I stood there calm and collected, until Samantha caught her breath.
“The mist, omg! He and his girlfriend are the cutest things ever!” She scrambled out looking at me with twinkling eyes and a love-sick gaze.
She held a newspaper in front of my face with The Mist and a blonde girl passionately kissing under a streetlight. She was on his lap and they looked so happy. So beautiful together…
What.
The Mist, Zach. He had a girlfriend. The world around me shattered and I ran from there into the janitor’s closet. I placed my back against the door and slid down, wrapping my arms around my knees and began sobbing. I couldn’t help it. I loved him.
