"Dani!" Regulus called.
"Yes Daddy?" She replied.
"Sweetheart, we have to talk. Can you get your brother?" She nodded and rushed off to find Mason.
They arrived at their father's study soon after.
"We need to talk."

"Mace! Happy birthday!" The now eight year old girl wished her cousin.
"Happy birthday Dani!" He smiled at her, ruffling her black hair.
"If Dad hadn't explained everything to us last year, I would still think we're twins." She grinned, her steely grey eyes sparkling.
"Is it bad that I consider you twin then?" The boy joked, running a hand through his jet black hair.
"Only if it's bad that I consider you mine."She grinned back.
Regulus smiled from the corridor, at least she wasn't overly upset when he told her about his brother.

"Mason! Danielle!" Regulus shouted.
"Yes Dad?" They chorused with innocent looks on their faces.
"Don't act innocent! And don't talk like that!" He yelled.
"What could-" Mason started
"You possibly mean-" Danielle carried on.
"By that, Daddy dearest?" They chorused.
"Stop! It's creepy!" Their father whined, "And I know it was you! How else could my hair be blue?" He accused.
"Oh that-" Danielle shrugged.
"It's a prank product." Mason elaborated.
"We call it 'showing shampoo'. If the person is doing something bad-" Danielle started.
"It turns their hair blue, and if they're doing something dark, like dark magic-" Mason continued.
"It goes red and green, like the curses." Danielle finished.
"Remind not to let you two near my potions stuff. You're way too smart for eight year olds."
"Dad-" They chorused.
"Why's your hair-"
"Blue? What did you-"
"Do that's so bad?" They chorused again.
Regulus started stuttering and turning red while the kids laughed.

"Daddy dearest?" The twins chorused from outside the door to their father's study.
"Come in." Regulus called.
"Daddy dearest-" Danielle started.
"Since you love us so much-" Mason drawled.
"We were wondering if you'd let us get tattoos?" They chorused.
"What? You're like, nine! No!" Regulus yelled, his grey eyes wide in shock.
"But Dad!-"
"We only want one each-"
"And we'll pay!"
"No! You have no idea of the pain! You're nine!" Regulus argued.
"Yeah but they're awesome!" Danielle complained.
