Guardian Shifter

Chapter 6

-Parker-
"EMI!!- DOCTOR WHITE!"
"I'm coming alpha- take her up to the infirmary" I booked it into the house, to the infirmary. I laid her on the first bed I saw, and that was open. I was pacing back and forth when doc came in and worked on her.
"Alpha you must calm down, there's really no need to worry. She just past out from exhaustion, she shifted back and forth too much. But she also has multiple scratches and of course, her ear is damaged. Luckily if just her cartilage so it will hurt but it will be ok. She needs rest, but in time I'm sure she will be great as new.... But of course, I know what your thinking, 'what is she? Why can she shift to different animals' in her own time she will tell you. But. I will tell you this, she is the last descendant of the Guardian shifter tribe from the 1400s. And you... Are the alpha, King. And your mate is the guardian of your kingdom. Look it up, the books in your office." I nodded my head, all I really cared about was Emi right now.
"Thank you doc" he nodded his head "call me when she wakes up" and with that, he left me alone with my sleeping mate.
I pulled a chair up next to her bed. I pulled her hand into mine.
My curiosity got the best of me. So I went downstairs to my office I grabbed a coffee and went to my personal library.
I went towards the G's (this was my father's office once before).  I knew I had to tell Emi that I was the Alpha King. I also knew I needed to tell her that she was the Guardian. But I don't want her to do all the fighting. Now I feel like the weak one oh my gosh. Searching through the books I found what I was looking for. An old book from the 1400s. The cover had a ripped leather piece on the spin. The title: Guardian.  Underneath it a large 'S'. I took the book back into the infirmary, where I sat on the chair next to Emi. I started reading while waiting for Emi to wake up.
'It is well known to the Americas. To the Mesoamericans.  This person, the shifter of all shifters.  Thought to be a legend, but after the racial war, it was then realized that some myths are real. The guardian shifter is a generation of powerful shifters known to protect his/her kingdom. known to be the sons, or daughters of either the Alpha or the Beta. There are two different types of Guardians, the Sun Guardian: the snake, the alligator, the mermaid, the eagle, the tiger, the shark, and the giant Stagg. The Sun has the power over fire, lightning, and air, the most powerful during the day. The Moon Guardian: the Fox, the Lion, the Elk, the Brown Owl, the Bear, The Wolf, the Horse. The Moon has the power over the land, and water as well as the power of blood. The moon can manipulate his/her blood, as well as control the others blood flow. the more common Guardian is the Sun.'
"Parker?" I folded the top of the page, closing the book. Turning towards my groggy mate, I smiled.
"Good morning sunshine" she gave me a soft smile in response.
"How are you feeling?" She nodded her head. She sat up and reached for the cup of water sitting next to her on the night table.
"Be careful baby" I quickly set my arm behind her to let her lean on it.
"I'm fine, I'm fine just a little tired." She shook me off as she then tried to get out of bed.
"Oooooohhhhh no no no no. Oh no, you don't!" I set her back on the bed.
"I HAVE TO PEEEEEEEEEEEE PARKER!!!!!" She whined rather loud. I sighed.
"Fine fine but I'm helping" she rolled her eyes. She sat up once again and went into the bathroom. A few minutes later she came back out and sighed from relief, which caused me to chuckle. She's too cute.
She glared at me and pouted. "I'm not cute I'm sexy." I looked at her confused. "You said that out loud" she gave me a 'Duh' look.
"Duh!" I whined to her.  Which caused her to laugh a little. I could listen to that laugh all day, every day.
"Let me call the doctor." I reached over and pressed the button next to her bed.
Pretty soon Doctor white came in greeting us.
"Well, it's good to see your awake Emi!"
"I feel well rested, thank you for patching me up Doctor-?"
"Doctor white, but you can call me doc" Emi smiled and nodded. Doc went over her wounds and changed her gauze on her ear. 
"Rest, and I will say you need some training. Gain stamina" doc turned to me, "talk to your father and the elders of the council." I nodded my head.
"Do you know what I am?" Doc smiled, "talk to the council and the former alpha" and with that he left.
"WELL COME ON LETS GO I NEED TO KNOWWWW" Emi broke the silence. Which caused me to chuckle
"Ok ok let's go change, and then we will meet with my father."  She looked at me confused then looked down at her attire. Her face flushed as she dragged me out the door and up the stairs to our room.
Once changed we headed down to the garage.  I opened the car door for her, "what a gentlemen" she laughed.
"Only for you" I slide into the driver seat and started the car.
We started towards a big court like building.  And once out of the car we headed in...
