Jacob POV

What did I do. I promised Bella I would never hurt her. I stood there looking at her arm. I couldn't see her again. Not while every time I look at her I see what I have done. I shouldn't have made her tell me. I also promised her I wouldn't get mad. But why didn't she move? She just stood there. Maybe she didn't know what to do? Maybe she was paralyzed for a second? Finally I turned around and started walking away. I couldn't see her. Then I smelt her scent getting closer. "Wait!" She called. Don't turn around Jake. You hurt her. You don't deserve her. I kept walking.

"Jake stop!" She was now in front of me. She pointed to her arm. "I don't care about this! I didn't even feel it!" I shook my head and kept walking. She stopped me again. "Look." She took her hand and placed it on my face. She used her gift to show me our memories together. Cliff diving, hunting together, races, games we played. Then came her feelings. She cared about me. She always has. She always will. I shook her hand off. I couldn't see anymore. That wouldn't help what I did to her. She may be able to forgive me, but I won't. I broke into a run now. She was still following me. I wish she could understand me so I could tell her to go away. Then I heard the words. The words I've been waiting to hear my whole life.

"I'm in love with you Jacob! I'm so so so in love with you! Don't do this to me, please!" I stopped. I started crying. I never knew I could cry in my wolf form until now. I looked back at her beautiful red puffy eye face. All I could do was howl. I ran back to my house, not looking back. I knew she wasn't following me now, her scent trailed off.

It was officially the worst week in the history of weeks. First my dad died, then my friends talked behind my back, and then I hurt Renesmee. After I changed back I threw my clothes across the room. I pushed the dresser over and screamed. I banged on the doors, the walls, and the windows. I had to get my anger out somehow. Then I heard someone call my name. "Jake?" I automatically knew who that was. "Go away Seth." Of course he didn't listen. He came into my room without knocking.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." I hissed. "Nothing's wrong, Seth. Go home." Seth rolled his eyes. "I'm not stupid, there's crap all over your room. You're mad about something." I knew I always underestimated him. "I don't want to talk about it. Please, can I just be alone?" He seemed to start to understand. Finally. "Okay fine, but I'll be out back if you ever need me. I'll always be here for you." I knew I wouldn't need him, but I really appreciated it. "Thanks man." When he left I laid down to calm down. I tried not to think of her, but I couldn't help it. She said she was in love with me. No one has ever said that to me before. I believed Bella was, but I was wrong. I kept these thoughts in my mind as I drowsed off into a deep sleep.

"Ow!" I heard a bang. I sprang up from my bed to see who was in my room. Oh. Of course. Renesmee was on the floor beside the dresser I kicked on the floor. She must have tripped. I would have helped her up, but I couldn't look at her. She got up as quickly as my next blink. "You know, I would have thought Edward had banned you from this place the second he looked at you." She sighed. "He did." Oh great. So now I'm going to be in even more trouble now because I made her sneak out. Just great.

"Then what are you doing here?" I still didn't look at her face. She twirled her bracelet I had got her for her first Christmas. She never took it off. "I... I had to see you. I know you don't want to see me but you have to understand that it's okay. See? Look!" She showed me her arm. It was perfectly clear of all the cuts I had given her. "All gone. Like it never happened."

Of course it happened. I never would forget it. But I had to admit seeing the scar gone did make me feel a little bit better. What happened with Sam, well, it's obvious that scar didn't go away. Ugh, Sam. I hate him. This would have never happened if he would have just shut up. "Jakey please." I hated when she called me that in an argument. She knew she would win. "Fine. But go back home. I don't want your parents getting me in more trouble." She shook her head. "I'll work it out with them. I want to stay with you."

She wanted to stay with me? Like, sleep? In the same bed? "Well come on then." She had already been in my bed saving a spot for me. I got in. She shivered. It was always cold in my house, since I can't really feel it. I put my arm around her and she buried her head in my chest. "I love you, Jake." I smiled. "I love you too, Ness."
