Before I knew it, the night of my party had arrived. Mikayla had been over my house the entire day obviously. When 8:00 came around, I heard the doorbell ring. The first person at my house was now Harry. He had a white t-shirt on with a pair of dark wash jeans. His appearance was casual, yet seemed so prestigious. He smiled when I opened the door, making his dimples the most prominent that I had seen them. The sun had gone down and the temperature dropped so I invited him inside.

When Harry was inside and the door behind him was shut, he pulled his hand out from behind his back. I noticed that his arm had been hidden there, but I thought it was just out of nerves. He slid his hand in front of him and I, displaying a beautiful bouquet of roses.

"Harry! You didn't have to do that!" I hugged him and he just smiled.

"You're welcome. I thought you would like them." His voice was smooth and laid-back.

"You can go downstairs, Mikayla is down there. I will be down there in a minute, I'm just going to put these in some water," I say gesturing to the flowers.

"That's fine."

Just as I place the flowers in a vase of water, I hear the door bell.

"One minute!" I shout from the kitchen.

The bell continues to ring, increasing my frustrations. I run to the door and swing it open. When the door is fully open I see David. David is a boy at my school with down syndrom. I sigh thinking of how stupid I was to not remember that I invited him. I put a smile on my face, glad to see him here. David and I have been great friends since the sixth grade when I yelled at some jerks for making fun of him. David really isn't that much different from you and I, he just speaks slower and needs more time to process things.

"It is great to see you David!" I say with enthusiasm.

David smiles at me. He has no words to speak so I just invite him inside and tell him that he is welcome to go downstairs.

"That's okay Annabelle. I want to stay with you!" He follows his defiant statement with another smile.

"Okay David that is just fine. Would you like anything to drink?"

"Yes, milk please."

I smile at his request and grab him a plastic cup. I then fill it with milk. He says thank you and I tell him that I will be going downstairs with Mikayla and my new friend.

I follow him down the stairs and watch as he sits on the couch next to Harry. I see Harry's dimples show once again. I walk over to the old stereo I have had for a couple of years. I turn on channel 955 and Natasha Beddingfield's new song blasts through the stereos. David jumps off the couch and tells me that he loves this song. I leave the station on to please David. I hear the door bell ring once again and run back up the stairs.

As I open the door I see Jessie. Jessie is a transfer student from Chicago. He just arrived at our school about a month ago and was quick to make friends. He is a handsome young man who had been in a few small commercials, or so he claims. I don't see who wouldn't want him in their commercial, with his perfect teeth and gleaming blue eyes that match perfect with his bleach blonde spiked hair. I invite him in and walk him into the basement. When he gets into the lowest level of the house, he notices David dancing.

"Hey David!" Jessie greets him.

"Hi Jessie! I missed you!" he replies.

David smiles at him. David and Jessie saw each other only two days ago at school.

The doorbell rings once again. I sigh at the fact that I have been back up and down the stairs multiple times. When the door opens, I see two people that I wish I would have never met, Lila and Victoria.

"I don't remember inviting you guys." I say. Wow, that came off ruder than I had thought it would. Who cares, it's not like they actually care about me anyways.

"Well we are here now. Where's the party at?" They snicker to themselves.

"Downstairs." I answer shortly.

They both walk inside and down into the basement. I shut the door and follow behind them. Of course they are wearing too short shorts with cut off sleeve shirts. When they walk into the basement everyone stares. Of course, I roll my eyes from behind them. When Harry sees them he raises his eyebrows at me and I feel the urge to punch both of these girls. I walk over to Harry and sit next to him on the empty spot on the couch.

"You know, you are way prettier than both of those girls combined. At least you have the decensy to put some clothes on," His brilliant smile appears once again along with his dimples.

"This is lame," Lila says to me.

"Nobody said you had to be here," I retaliate.

"Well, I invited a couple of people. Hope you don't mind, they should be here soon."

"Of course I mind!" I yell to her.

Right on cue, the doorbell rings. I stand up off the couch and Harry does the same. He grabs my hand and walks behind me.

"Those girls are nasty," he announces as soon as we get out of the basement.

Little did Harry know that those girls had a few tricks up their sleeves, starting with who was on the other side of the door.
