Syndra

Ch.3

~Last time on Eternal Flight~

"Let's all get some well deserved sleep. Goodnight my ladies." I said, laughing as a course of 'goodnight my queen,' echoed the halls.

I got into my room and changed into a night gown before crawling into bed and falling right to sleep.

~Now~

The next morning I was awoken to the sound of maids rushing around my room.

"Oh, you awake." one of the maids said, turning in shock to bow to me.

"Forgive us for waking you, we were told to prepare you for the trip." another maid said, as her and all the others bowed.

"It is alright." I said, climbing out of bed and they quickly got to work.

An hour later I exited my room and went to the dining hall where the girls were waiting for me.

"I was wonder when you would appear." Keya said, clinging to a cup of chocolate coffee.

"My maids were pretty loud moving around my room." I said, sitting down and was giving a cup of the same coffee that Keya had.

"I'm surprised they put us all in similar outfits." Syndra said, looking at the dresses we were all wearing that had matching hooded cloaks.

"They are nice though. I had to choose between three colors because they didn't know which I'd want to wear." Meira said, making us laugh.

Breakfast was served before we were pushed out the door.

"Adalair will meet you at the site. Please don't over work yourselves and drink plenty of water." Cymberly said, ushering us to the carriage.

"How long are we going to be out?" Aravae asked, looking around towards the forest.

"Only until dark. Now go. You have much to do." Cymberly said, letting us get into the carriage before it took off.

It took an hour for us to get to where we were meeting up with all the guards and everyone who wanted to help.

"Syndra and Aravae, you guys can help with the crops and gardens that got destroyed. I'll handle the boulder holes that are in the ground. Keya, you can blow all the rubbish away from the surrounding areas. Meira, you can burn down overgrowth and then come stand with me." I said, pointing in the direction of the areas they had to go.

After we all split up, we were each given guards to also accompany us. It took us up until near sundown before we finally stopped. Aravae had managed to get flowers to already start blooming and everything was returned to the way it looked before the attack that killed my parents and many peoples family members.
