~Last time on Eternal Flight~

We all groaned, not looking forward to this at all.

"At least after this we can look forward to taking out our stress on the guards." Aravae said, opening the book and starting.

~Now~

It's been a few days now since we had rebuilt the town. More elves were now moving in, families repopulating the area as they heard the news of a newly built town. We have been training and studying as well as meeting the news townspeople. Dancing and singing returned to the town and everyone was celebrating the flourishing kingdom. Today was unlike any other day. My ladies and I were finally meeting a king and his guards from a neighboring area, but have yet to be told when they are arriving.

"I wonder if they are handsome." Aravae said, walking out in her usual green training attire.

"You're only twelve Aravae." I said, laughing when she huffed and crossed her arms.

"Do not worry. Apparently the youngest member of his royal guard is fifteen." Meira said, laughing when Aravae grinned.

"How old is his royal highness?" I asked Cymberly, as she walked through the door.

"He is eighteen your majesty, now come we have a lot to do today." she said, pulling me out the door towards the training area.

"When will the king and his men arrive?" Keya asked, leaning against the door of the training room.

The training room was an outdoor courtyard, built specifically for fighting and training.

"In an hour, maybe." Cymberly said, not really paying attention.

A few minutes after we arrived guards started to enter the room.

"Your training for today will last until there is only one person standing. I will return in two hours." she said, turning on her heels and leaving the room.

"Let's get started then." I said, letting Aravae go first as the youngest.

An hour and a half later it was the final match between one of the guards and Syndra. Both of which looked to be at their limit.

"I need water..." Keya mumbled, fixing her outfit while she twirled a dagger in her right hand.

"Don't we all?" I asked sarcastically, leaning back as they started to fight.

It didn't take long before Syndra took down the guard and backed away to help him up.
