The next morning I woke up feeling fresh, from the extra hours of sleep. I was anxious to get to school, and rushed through my morning chores so I would have enough time to do something special with my hair. I skipped through my chores in a breeze. In no time I was in front of the mirror applying some mascara to make my eyes pop. My hair was messy, so I used a spell or two to make it longer and shiny. I brushed it out, then applied my favorite flavor lip gloss, Vanilla Rainbow. I put on hoop earrings I had gotten for my birthday, and was ready to go. I was the first in my car so I pulled up a book on my cellphone do distract myself. My dad and sister hopped in a few minutes later and we took off. Once we dropped off my sister, and pulled up in front of my school, I took one more glance at the mirror, then, satisfied, I got out of the car. I calmly walked up the stairs nervous for what waits for me in the classroom. I counted to ten the took a deep breath and plunged into the classroom. There weren't many people there just Amelia, my boo, Ashtin, and ugggg....Dane! Great! I do not like her at all! In my eyes she is an animal and I just don't know who in the living hell would let her out of the zoo! Ha I just got a brilliant idea! I can do an ugly spell, I'm brilliant. Pointing my index finger at her, I murmured "Let these marks forever stay, for what they did , let them pay. Let the darkness befall this one, let the beauty leave the sun." Cold air sped past me and encircled Dane.She looked around confused, as the cold left as quick as it had come.By tomorrow morning, there won't be a mirror that wont shatter, from her new facial arrangement. Even though I did just cast an ugly spell on her, I'm not that mean, so the spell I used only lasts a week, but hey, I'm just trying to show some people some of her inner beauty. As I watched Dane, I heard someone stumble into the classroom. I few more people came in and until I realized Jack was one of them did I turn around. I saw him and smiled, noticing his bloodshot eyes, as if he had been up all night. As soon as he saw me, I could have sworn his eyes lit up like a 3 year old taking his first bite of ice cream. I turned around and did a small happy dance. I stood up a little bit straighter, when I smelt a familiar scent, one that i had always dreamed of being surrounded by, and in the arms of. I heard the familiar rumble of a deep voice, that had always attracted me, " Hey" Jacob said. I spun around to fast and tripped over my backpack, that I had foolishly left on the ground. I felt myself begin to fall, waiting for the sting that usually comes from hitting the ground. I felt someone, swiftly wrap their arms around me, protectively, before I could hit the carpeting. I already knew who caught me before I had even looked up. I started stuttering thinking of something to say." Umm..umm..I..you" come on Jade, use your words! Before I could make more of a fool of myself he lifted me back up but not before he leaned down to my ear and whispered, " I think I'm in love with you." he winked at me and smiled. I knew this would happen but the reality of it is...heartwarming. He walked away leaving me staring after him.
