Gravity Falls one-shots

Braces

Alicewentz gave me this idea go check her out she has some good stuff she's also writing a Gravity falls sick fic book so go check that out.

Mabel was bouncing up and down in the car she was finally going to get her braces taken off and she was so excited. "Mabel sweetie, calm down you're going to burst from happiness" Stan chuckled 

"I can't help it, I'm so excited" Mabel replied smiling widely. The orthodontist had called earlier to tell Mabel that her braces could finally be removed.

The two got to the orthodontist's office soon after. Mabel went to go sit down while Stan checked in and he soon came to sit down with her. "Mabel Pines" the nurse called she got up to follow her "have a seat the orthodontist will be right in with you" the nurse said. 

"Ok" she answered. 

The orthodontist came in soon after "hello Mabel" the orthodontist greeted 

"Hi" she greeted back.

"So you're supposed to get your braces off today, right?" he asked 

"Yep" Mabel replied cheerfully 

"Alright let's see" he said. She opened her mouth so he could get a better look at her teeth, she was so excited to be getting her braces off. "I'm sorry Mabel you should actually keep them in for another couple months" he said 

"What? But I got a call that said I was supposed to get them off today" she replied disappointed

"I'm sorry Mabel, but I don't think it's a good idea to remove them just yet" he said and lead her out of the room.

Stan was sitting in the waiting room waiting for Mabel to get her braces off and he knew she was so excited, but instead of coming out in the cheerful mood she was in when she entered the dentist office Mabel came out looking very disappointed "what's wrong sweetie?" he asked

The orthodontist answered for her "she has to keep her braces in for at least another 5 months" he answered.

"Let's go" Mabel said disappointed

"Alright sweetie" he answered as they got in the car and made their way to the mystery shack.

Dipper and Ford were waiting for Stan and Mabel to come back. Dipper also knew how excited Mabel was to learn she was getting her braces off. The car then pulled up Stan parked it and they got out.

"How did it go?" Ford asked 

"It didn't go at all" Mabel mumbled and walked up to the attic.

"What does that mean?" Dipper asked 

"It means the orthodontist said she would have to have her braces on for another 5 months" Stan answered. Dipper turned and followed Mable up to the attic.

"Mabel" Dipper asked gently and he saw she was in sweater town "Mabel" he asked again.

"Mabel's not here she's in sweater town and is not excepting calls right now leave a message" she said rocking back and forth.

"Can you come out of sweater town? I wanna talk" Dipper asked she seemed to consider it and she reluctantly came out. "Look Mabel I know you're upset, but hey you only have to wait another 5 months and that's not long" Dipper said

"I wanted to get them off today they called and said I could and then they tell me I can't" she said "what kind of people do they think they are, I was so excited for today and now...." she trailed off.

"Well, how about we go chuck water balloons at random people instead" he asked and he saw her hiding a faint smile

"Ok, race you" she said and darted downstairs with her brother behind her. They spent the rest of the day chucking water balloons at almost everybody in town so they had a good day in the end.
