Mabel had been acting weird lately and not her normal weird. She's been acting as if not herself and I knew something was up. She wasn't sleeping well at first I thought she was sick but when I asked her she got all defensive. I was really worried about her so I know it's weird and creepy to spy on people but I needed to find out what was wrong with her.

I followed her into the forest and she put down some kind of necklace on a rock by the lake. And that's when I saw it. The creature looked like it was a mix between some kind of swamp monster and a ghost. Sharp teeth came down from her mouth. She wore a tattered emerald green dress and had on a sickly amount of jewelry. 

"Here it's the last piece of jewelry I have" Mabel said meekly 

"Last piece, last piece!" She screamed and I could see Mabel shaking "WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS THE LAST PEICE! I NEED ALL OF THE JEWELRY!" it screamed and flung Mable against a tree.

"I-I'm sorry I only have so much jewelry" Mabel stuttered and she never stutters.

"Leave my sister alone!" I screamed at the creature I was furious that whatever it was hurt my sister.

"Who do you think you are" the creature asked.

"I'm her brother" I said helping Mabel up "and your gonna give everything you have that is hers back to her" I said

"Oh yeah and what are you gonna do" the creature asked

I went up and took Mabel's necklace of the rock and the creature followed me and as soon as it came out of the water it turned to stone. And all of Mabel's jewelry fell of the creature.

Mabel came up and hugged me "oh thank you thank you thank you" Mabel said

"No problem, but I think you owe me and explanation" I said helping her pick up all of the jewelry.

Mabel sighed "well it started last week when I found the creature on the shore and it looked lonely so I went to see who it was but when I touched it, it got all defensive and I threw it on the ground so she said if I wanted to live I had to bring all of my jewelry to her" Mabel finished

"So that's why you've been acting strange lately. I'm sorry I couldn't help sooner I was worried about you"I said

"Well like I said before thank you for saving me you overprotective brother" Mabel said hugging me again.

"Your welcome now let's go back to the shack I think we've both had enough excitement for one day" I said

"Ok let's go home" Mabel agreed as we walked home side by side.

Ok so I hope you liked it and I hope I'll get to write again soon but this idea just came to me so I thought I would give you another one shot but anyway for now I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful life ok
