Sick day

Hello people I am back with another one shot for you all and I hope you like it.

Wendy woke up this morning not feeling great but she had decided it was probably nothing,so she got up got dressed and headed off to work.

When Wendy got to work she noticed no one was there but it wasn't Sunday so she new she had work. She was starting to develop a nasty headache so she set her backpack down and went to see if anyone else was here.

"Hello" she called out in kind of a raspy voice

"Wendy" Dipper asked coming down the stairs.

Dipper had just been reading the journal as always but he had stopped when he heard a voice which he thought someone had broken in but he had soon recognized the voice to be (his crush) Wendy.

"Dipper where is everyone" Wendy asked coughing into her arm

"They went out shopping" Dipper answered "are you ok you don't look so good" he asked

"I'm fine just a little tickle in my throat" Wendy replied she never liked to admit when she was sick and hoped Dipper wouldn't see through her but he did.

"Well I think you're coming down with something you're really pale and your voice doesn't sound so great" Dipper said

"So maybe I'm a little sick big deal I feel fine anyway" Wendy said

"Ya but if you don't get rid of your illness it will only get worse" Dipper said

"It's not even that serious it's just a little headache and I'm losing my voice a little bit big deal besides it doesn't mean it's gonna get worse" Wendy said "but anyway I should head home since I'm not needed here so I'll see you later" she said in a nasally voice

"Wait" Dipper called after her

"What is it" Wendy asked

"Let me take care of you" Dipper said trying to hide the blush forming on his face that was growing worse ever minute "I mean it would be a lot better if you just stayed her and rested rather then having to walk all the way back to your house" Dipper said his blush slowly fading.

Wendy thought it over in her head Dipper did have a point there was no one else at home since her dad and brothers went on a camping, she also started feeling worse with  every passing second so she made a final decision to stay. "Ok kid you've convinced me I'll stay just until I feel good enough to go home" Wendy said nodding a little.

Dipper smiled "ok why don't you lay down on the couch and I'll get some water and some Advil to help" Dipper said leaving Wendy to wonder into the Pines' living room and lied  down on the couch as she waited for Dipper to return. It's so nice of him to take care of me even though I don't wanna be cared for it's the thought that counts Wendy thought as Dipper walked back in the living room with a bottle of water some crackers and some Advil.

"Here I figured you should eat something so the Advil won't upset your stomach more then it is already" Dipper said handing her the three items.

"Thank you Dipper it's really nice of you to do this for me you probably have way better things to be doing with your life then just taking care of me" Wendy said drinking the water and swallowing the pills and then she started munching on a few crackers so she wouldn't throw up everything she's eaten in the last 24 hours.

"Not really I was getting kinda frustrated with it and it's really no trouble talking care of you I'm just happy to help" Dipper said trying to hide his blush.

"Well I'm gonna get some sleep and then probably head off so see ya later" Wendy said passing out almost instantly.

Dipper smiled "goodnight" he whispered and then tip-toed up the stairs going to read the journal he really liked helping Wendy she was just so perfect.................

And that's the last thought he had before he also passed out exited that he got to help his friend.......ya friend cause that's all they'll ever be.......just friends.......or maybe not
