Gravity Falls one-shots

Sick day

Ford didn't feel so great and Stan knew it. Mabel was at a sleepover with Candy and Grenada and Dipper was upstairs in the attic reading. Stan was in the living room reading gold chains for old men magazines. Ford was coming up from the basement to get some aspirin or some kind of medicine to make him feel better. Ford didn't like to be taken care of he liked to take care of himself. "Hey sixer you feelin' alright" Stan asked

"I'm fine Stanly" Ford said and went to go find some medicine as expected he thought of course he's too cheap to buy medicine.

"What'er you looking for Ford" Stan's voice cut in.

"I suppose you don't have any kind of medication that isn't expired" Ford said.

"There should be....I think" Stan started right I just bought some didn't I.......yes......no, ah what do I know I can't remember anything  Stan thought "why do you need it? I told you you'd get sick one of these times from overworkin'" he grumbled knowing exactly that's why he was sick. 

"I'm not sick" Ford argued "and even if I was I can take care of myself" he finished and coughed harshly. 

"C'mon" Stan said and Ford followed. The two ended up in Soos's new break room "lie down" Stan instructed.

"Wha-" Ford was cut off by getting pushed on the couch.

"Stay" Stan instructed, he soon came back with a thermometer some medicine (that wasn't expired, thank god), a wet wash cloth and a garbage can. Ford took his temperature which was 100.4, took his medicine and Stan put the wet wash cloth on his forehead and Ford lied down "sleep" Stan instructed and left the room after turning off the light, and with a little grumbling  Ford eventually fell asleep.
