Cara's pov
Three months ago...
I'm at a party. Yeah, that typical party that include alcohol and all those illegal stuff. This is unusual and if it wasn't for Emily's dare, I wouldn't be here right now. I prefer watching Netflix at home while eating popcorns.
When I got into the house, I instantly got disgusted of the sight in front of me. Bodies pressed against each other, grinding and rocking and dancing like there was no tomorrow, the smell of hot sweat and beer in the air made me felt like puking. I started to change my mind about coming here, but luck wasn't on my side today. As I tried to escape, someone pushed me from behind, causing me to stumble forward into a group of people.
They were all surprised at the sudden intrusion, and I immediately apologized to them, blushing furiously while doing it.
"I-I'm sorry, I'll leave right away!" I stuttered out.
Curse my stuttering. What can I say? I'm a socially awkward person.
As I turned around to leave, a hand shot out to catch my wrist, stopping me from leaving. I looked at the owner's face and froze as two icy blue eyes stared right at me.
First thing that came to my mind: he's drop dead gorgeous.
"Join us." He muttered.
"Um..." I mumbled nervously. I wondered if this was normal, cause' I can feel the warmth and tingles from where he held me. It felt weird. This is the closest skin contact I've ever had with a guy.
Chewing my lower lip, I nervously looked up at him. Standing a whole lot taller than me, I had to tilt my head up to look at his face with his icy blue eyes observing me quietly. It's like he felt my anxiety so he softened his hold on my wrist. I trailed my eyes from bottom to the top, appreciating the way his jeans hugged his long muscular thighs, the outlines of his abs and muscles through the tight shirt he was wearing. His tanned skin even seemed to glow under the light from this angle.
We both just stared at each other, him gazing at me silently and me ogling at this very fine male specimen when someone coughed.
"Excuse me?"
As if someone had wake me up from a dream, I realized what I just did and quickly looked away blushing. He smirked at me as if he knew I had checked him out then reluctantly let my hand go.
A brunette pushed him away and stood in front of me now, gazing at me with mischievous green eyes. She cocked her head to one side and did a quick scan of me. Then she let out a loud squeal and grasped my shoulders, making me jump in the process.
"We're playing a game of truth or dare. Wanna join?" She asked me excitedly.
When I'm starting to politely reject her, she quickly cut me off by saying, "but you have to! It'll be fun. The more, the merrier!"
Then she lazily swung an arm around me and pulled me into their circle. Aw crap.
She turned to me and grinned, "I'm Alice! What's your name?"
"Cara." I mumbled, giving a small smile.
"G-Guys... this is Cara! She's playing with us." She shouted, and everyone mumbled some greetings such as 'hi's and 'hello's.
I wondered if she was drunk, because the way she slurred around her words and staggered around proved much. I gulped, thinking what have I gotten myself into.
And I was right.
Just before the game started, Alice began to smile darkly, a wicked glint appeared in her eyes.
