It was days like this that I never want to end. I was laying across the couch with my head in Ryder's lap. He was playing with my hair while the TV played, occasionally looking down at me and I'll occasionally look up at him.

It was peaceful and relaxing.

"I love you, Keeva, you know that right?" He suddenly asks, seriousness in his voice. I tear my eyes from the television to his golden eyes, "Yes, of course I do, Ryder," I say, smiling.

My smile falls, though, at his darken expression. "And you know that I don't give two fucks what people think about us?" I nodded silently. He twists a strand of hair between his fingers. "I have to leave for a few days, okay?" Ryder says, looking away from me, "Don't listen to anything that anyone else says to you. I love you no matter what happens, princess."

My bottom lip started trembling so I bite down on it, "Why?" I croak. "My dad ordered me to come home. If I don't than he may target you," Ryder growls, still not looking me in the eyes. "You're gonna be safe, right?" I questioned, alarmed. His eyes soften, "Of course, Keeva," he assures me.

I loop my arms around his neck and scramble up until I'm sitting on my knees in his lap. "You'll hurry back?" I ask as well, leaning my forehead against his. Being so close to him, I could see the back flecks in his golden brown eyes. Ryder smirks, "Always," he answers with a huskier voice.

"You won't be back in time for our anniversary, will you?" I already knew the answer but I asked anyway. His smirk falls and so do his mischievous eyes, "No," he speaks, "I'm sorry, princess." I brush my fingers across his cheek, "It's okay. It's not your fault," I whisper, smiling again.

When I cup his cheek, his own hand covers my own and he closes his eyes. "I have to leave tonight but I'll leave your gift on the nightstand," he murmurs. I moved his hair away from his eyes. "I'll miss you," I whisper softly. Ryder opens his eyes, attempting to smirk but ended up grimacing instead, "I'll miss you too, baby." He promises. "I love you so much."

His lips brush across mine before he pulls away. Dropping my head, I hug myself as close as possible to Ryder. Ryder ran a hand through my hair, "Keeva?" I hum in response, "Stay away from any other guys except the ones that live in this dorm, got it?" He growls, his natural possessiveness showing.

I tried not to get angry at his demanding and dominate tone as I nodded. Ryder slips a hand into the back of my shirt and starts rubbing small circles on my lower back. "You're as stiff as a board, princess," he comments, concern darkening his tone this time.

I shrugged, "It's been a long day," I answer tiredly. Ryder sighs again, "Are guys messing with you again?" I nodded silently and flinching when he lets out a stream of curses. "I'll fucking kill them!" He swore. I press a feather light kiss to his neck in hope that he'll calm down.

Ryder simply pushes me off his lap and onto the couch beside me before storming off. I hurry after him, grabbing his hoodie to slide on as I follow him out the front door. I was still barefoot as I padded across the grass to where he stood on his motorcycle. "Ryder, don't!" I plead, shivering from the cold.

I was only in shorts, a short-sleeved shirt I stole from Ryder along with his hoodie and it was nearing Christmas time.

"Go back inside, Keeva, before you get sick," Ryder orders coldly. I shook my head stubbornly, "No. Not without you," I protested. He settles a hard glare on me that would've have made me cower if it weren't for the fact I looked away. "Go back inside!" He barks.

I flinch at his tone of voice. Even when he's cross, he's still gentle with me. He hardly ever gets harsh at me. "R-ryder, don't do this," I pleaded, raising my wide eyes back to his.

Ryder's eyes didn't waver, "You are the damn picture of pure innocent right now, Keeva," he growls, peering down at me. I tilt my head when he reaches a hand out to grasp the back of it. He jerks me forward making me gasp before pulling me into a another passionate and slow kiss.

When he pulls away finally, I'm left panting while leaning against him with my hands planted firmly on his chest. His golden eyes were still unreadable as he lets me go. "Go back inside," he orders again and this time I willingly step away from him.

"Please don't do anything rash, Ryder," I whisper, trying not to cry. His eyes flash with anger, "I'll do what I have too," he growls. I choke on a sob as he takes off speedily on his motorcycle.

After grabbing a pair of converse to put on, i headed to the back gardens at the school, still crying.

Within five minutes, I had made it to the gardens and huddled down in me and Ryder's normal spot by the fountain. I press the sleeves of his hoodie to my face and inhale his scent before wiping at the tears streaming down my face.

I stayed like that for who knows how long. Eventually I grew colder and sat there shivering but I still didn't leave. I didn't want too. It gave me comfort.

"Damnit, Keeva!" I hear Ryder suddenly swear, "I told you to go inside! Not stay out for two or more hours until you got sick!" I look up at my seething boyfriend with dead eyes and a fresh round of tears streaming silently down my face.

He comes over and crouches beside me, wrapping his arm tightly around me. "I'm so sorry," he whispers, "I shouldn't have yelled at you." I bury my head in his chest and let out a quiet sob. "It made me feel as if you hated me, Ryder!"

He rubs a hand up and down my arm in a attempt t o warm me up. I started shivering more when a big gust of wind blows through. "C-cold-d," I stuttered, my eyes drifting close but I force them open.

"R-ryder," I whimper. Ryder quickly shushes me, standing up with me cradled in his arms. "You're gonna be okay, just go to sleep now." He orders. I force my eyes closed, tears still rolling down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, princess," Ryder murmurs a he starts walking. I didn't say anything as he hoists me up more into his arms, my head falling down on his shoulder. His lips brush across my forehead.

I tried to snuggle deeper into the warmth his body offered. "Shit, shit, shit. We need to get you into the heat and quickly," he growls. Drowsiness started taking over my body an my vision started going black.

The last thing I near was Ryder frantically calling my name before everything went black and my body goes numb.
