"The art of love is largely the art of persistence"- Albert Ellis********************************************
Alexis POV
Imagine me running through the hallways with so much stealth that James Bond would be jealous, racing into class and jumping into my seat right before the teacher comes into the class. Well that didn't happen I was more like Garfield ,what actually happened was after I got lost 5 times, I finally saw the janitor who directed me to class, which by the way I was already 15 minutes late to. So I ditched and went to one of the places I knew the way too. Entering the library I made a beeline to the hidden section.I was there for about 10 minutes, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I had scanned my surroundings twice but decided to look again, immediately I looked up I locked gazes with a familiar pair of blue eyes.
"Are you stalking me?" I asked, watching him intently because this is beyond a coincidence.
"Would it be wrong?" He said, with his usual smirk on his face.
"No, just stalkery " I said in all seriousness.
"I don't think "stalkery" is a word" he said holding back a laugh.
"Well it should be" I said getting my headphones and putting an end to the conversation.
He ripped them out of my hands, I tried collecting it but it was of no use. When I gave up I looked up at him to see a hint of a smile on his face, I couldn't look away. He seemed to have noticed how close we were and took a step back."Why aren't you in class?" He asked
" I could ask you the same thing" I replied vaguely.
"Touchè" He said with a smirk.
"Let's go" he said, turning his back to me. He seems to do that a lot.
"Go? Where? And what makes you think I'll follow you?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions" he laughed "And you don't ask enough" I muttered quietly under my breath.
"I helped you out earlier today, it's your turn to return the favor."
I would have objected and played hard to get a little longer, but I needed to find out more about this boy. I followed him too the parking lot, and I stopped abruptly when I saw him jump onto what I guessed was his moving death trap.
"You don't expect me to actually climb that thing do you?" I asked.
Instead of replying me, he revved up his engine and threw me a helmet. I sucked it up and claimed unto the death machine and praying, immediately I got on I clung unto him as if my life depended on it, because it did. After passing through shock and moving about a million miles we stopped, I was surprised we didn't get pulled over. I realized I couldn't let go and neither could I open my eyes, so Jason had to pry my hands off of him and set me down on the pavement. As soon as he got off he took a hold of my hand and dragged me to God knows where, when we stopped I took a look at our surroundings. We were in front of a run down diner and the town looked deserted, if I was paranoid I would have thought he brought me here to kill me, but before I could begin to question his motives he dragged me into the diner, were we took a seat.
I decided to look around before I turned back to see Jason staring at me intently, he began to lean closer, he lifted his hand to my face and I felt my breath get caught in my throat. I closed my eyes and the most unexpected thing happened.
