All along the road everybody was silent, so I decided to crack the ice and start a conversation with them so i asked about how they feel about mark, jeffery was the first to answer.
-" mark for me is my brother, before college i was just a geek who doesn't have any friends, who lives with his single mother, i wanted to do something about my life so that i can help myself socialize with people and not be the same lonely dude, so I considered that college would be a fresh start. But the first days were hard and I barely fit in, I wanted to act cool around the others but I sucked at it, so people started avoiding me and started bullying me. Until the second week of the semester. I was invited by one if the popular guys and they asked me in a polite way to come and have fun with them and they said that the whole school was going to be there, I was so excited that I answered spontaneously with a yes.
But i had the most horrific night ever, i was pulled by some stronger dude who put me in a bag and drew bad figures all over my naked body, i was only wearing my boxers, and the chained me like a dog and went all over campus dragging me around like a worthless piece of shit, i was discriminated and bullied all the time. So i had enough and wanted to get braver and stick up for myself, but i was too week to do so, and i did it, i punched the guy that invited me because it was his idea and spit on his face, before I realized it i was already drowning in the swimming pool, and I didn't know how to swim, i was yelling and asking for help but no one cared, my life started flashing before my eyes and I thought it was the end of a miserable life, so I closed my eyes and kissed life goodbye, i kept sinking until I blanked out. That was the last thing i remember.
The next morning i woke up in my bed, in my dorm room, and I thought it was just a dream, but when i got out everybody was looking at me weirdly. And laughing. So i asked someone to tell me what was going on and he said:" you're what's going on" and he showed me the video of me sinking. And i knew it was real but the thing that ran through my mind at that moment is how did i get in my bed.
I looked for the video and found it, i was so embarrassed of myself until i saw the guy who stood up for me, it was mark. He was the only one who jumped and saved me from drowning, he picked a fight with the group who bullied me and picked me up and out to my room.
I still appreciate it and i still keep the video until this day, because since that day, he was my best friend, the brother i never had."
