Chapter 7

Regina's pov

Just as I was about to grab a glass of wine the bell goes off. I answer the door.

"Kathryn, hey!" I smile a forced smile. She can see right through my mask..

"Regina? What's wrong? What happened?" She starts firing all these questions at me.

I sigh and offer her a glass of wine before I begin.. "She's got a boyfriend Kat. Emma lied to me. She has a boyfriend"

"I'm so sorry Regina. Have you spoken to her?"

I shake my head "not since she left"

She nods "well are you gonna speak to her?"

I shrug not knowing what to say really.

Why am I so hurt? Why am I so hurt that she's in a relationship? I mean I get this was a date.. But should I be feeling this? Should I be feeling the way I should for a 17 year? I sigh as I let the tears fall.

Kathryn pulls me into a hug "everything's gonna be ok. You just have to talk to her. Maybe it's not what you think? Maybe Henry is her brother?"

I pull away from the hug and give her a deadly glare. She backs away slightly. "How about some wine?" She insists.

I sigh before we start binge drinking a large amount of wine..

Emma's pov

We had arrived home not that long ago. I finally settled Henry down for the night. "Ruby?"

She still much in tears. "I'm so sorry Em" she sobs. "I should of kept a better on eye on him."

"It's okay Rubs. He's fine. Henrys fine. These accidents happen" I say pulling her into a hug. She hugs back instantly.

"God what did I do to deserve such an amazing best friend"

I giggle "Well what can I say? I'm irresistible"

She lets out a chuckle. "Tell me how your date went?"

I sigh. It was amazing I thought but after tonight I don't think she would anything to do with me.

"It was amazing" I breathe out. "She was amazing" I smile at the thought of Regina. "But im afraid I screwed things up"

"What happened Em?" She asks.

"I just left no explanation or nothing" I say on the verge of tears. "She doesn't even know about Henry Rubes"

Ruby pulls me into a hug. "Oh Em. Don't worry babe! Everything will work out you've just got to talk to her!"

I sigh then nod "hopefully she listens"

"She will. If she truly likes you. She will listen"

I grab my phone out and pull up Regina's messages.

Hey Gina. I'm sorry for running out on you earlier. Can you call me so we can talk? -E

Regina's Pov

I was with Kathryn when I my phone buzzed. I had unlocked the screen only for it to show I had a message from Emma Swan. I open the text which says.

Hey Gina. I'm sorry for running out on you earlier. Can you call me so we can talk? -E

I suddenly become furious with her before replying to the text.

LEAVE ME ALONE! GOODBYE MISS SWAN! -R
