College is just work and drunken parties

I thought college was supposed to be fun. I already knew it would be a lot of school work, but the parties are starting to get boring. They're all the same. Drunk people everywhere, loud music, people having sex in every room. I feel like I need a break from it all.

The thing that stresses me out most is the underage drinking. The freshmen that come in each year still have that highschool mindset and decide to mess around and only party their first year. I wasn't one of those freshmen. I didn't start drinking till I turned 21. Mark was just like every other freshmen. And by Mark, I of course mean Claire was and made Mark into one of those freshmen. Whenever there's a party, she has to go. She drags Mark with her. I still can't believe they're together. At least his mom hates her. That makes me feel a little better whenever I think about that.

Mark lie to try and invite me to the parties. In the beginning, I always refused and show up with Grace instead. Now I just refuse and stay in my dorm room. Winter break is next week and I'm going back home. That also means the rest of the gang is going home. Which means I won't be getting away from Mark ever. Chances are my parents are going to be dumb enough to invite Mark and his family over for Christmas dinner.

Then Claire will throw a bitch fit and I'm gonna have to put up with her, because she won't bitch to Mark. She loooves Mark. Forbid she gets upset with him. Instead she likes to take her anger out on me. Acts like I care about what she has to say.

My phone begins to ring, throwing me off my train of thought. "Hello?"

"(Y/n), good!" It's Grace. "There's going to be a huge party! Everyone on campus is invited! We have to go!"

"Great," I roll my eyes even though she can't see. "A bigger party with drunken orgies and loud music. Where do I sign up?"

"Oh shut up! The parties are fun and you know it!"

"Fine. Let me just get dressed." I hang up.

I put on a plain pink tank top and blue skinny jeans with holes in them. I finish off with black converse. I walk with Grace to her car and we head to the person who's hosting the party's house. "So give me the detes," I sat to Grace.

"The guys name is Jerry Thompson. His parents are out this week for Christmas. They don't even know he's been there the past few days instead of being at college.

We get there and just as I suspected, the music was blasting. I didn't mind the song that was playing. It's Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez. We walk around the house and it's huge. I don't see Bob or Wade anywhere. We get some "punch" to drink. I look around to try and find them. Instead, I spot Mark in the corner of the livingroom, making out with Claire.
