I laze about on the sofa comfortably, wrapped in Josh's abnormally large sweater which reached my mid-thigh while flicking through channels, taking in his scent and warmth from the sweater.

It had been a couple of weeks since Josh and I had started going out and I was already staying over at his place 24/7, to Melanie's dismay, it was like my second home. I snuggled deeper into the couch, smiling to myself about how the boy repeatedly said how he was going to go to the recording studio and bring back some bars that 'my ass could never spit'.

'But you're the drummer Josh,' I had said to him chuckling.

'Fine then, Tyler bout to drop a mixtape so hard, it's gonna blow your MIND,' he said slapping my head to which I responded with a flick to his forehead.

'OW, what was that for?'

'For acting like a roadman!'

I chuckled at the memory that had only occurred a few hours prior before hearing a knock at the door.

'COMING!' I shout but before I could even get up from my comfortable position on the sofa a figure rushed through the door and picks me up, saving me the trouble, and throws me over their shoulder.

'HEY JOSHUA DUN PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANCE OR SO HELP ME GOD I WILL SLAP YOU RIGHT IN THE GODDAMN (door) FACE RIGHT AFTER I THROW UP ALL OVER YOUR BACK,' I shout at him as he spins me again and again but is only response was a cute ass giggle as he placed me on his kitchen counter, situating himself between my legs as I wrap them round his hips.

'What's got YOU so happy?' I ask, pressing my forehead against his as he breathes heavily, obviously breathless from the 10 minutes he was mad-handling me like a Neanderthal.

'Well, you know Fueled by Ramen? The record label that Beebs is signed to? Yeah well, they offered twenty one pilots a contract!' he says, like an excited little puppy.

'That's great boo! Now make me dinner,' I reply sarcastically as he nudges me in the shoulder.

'Shut up,' he says, pecking my lips hungrily.

'Alright alright (it's a— ok I'm not gonna do it again I have to restrain myself) I'm happy for you,' I say, smiling and pushing him back softly.

His response was to kiss me again hungrily, pushing me down on the kitchen counter.

'Dear lord, Joshua, we eat here!' I say between kisses but he does nothing but smirks into the kiss.

Right then in the heated moment, I felt a buzzing on my pants.

'Josh, why is your dick vibrating?'

'It yours,' he breaks away and kisses his teeth, 'who is so important that they had to interrupt our love making.'

I shove Josh and answer my phone, 'Hello?'

'Hey (y/n)!'

'PATTY!' I shout into the phone, 'ITS BEEN SUCH A LONG TIME YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS STEALING YOU AWAY FROM ME!' I receive another weird look from Josh but ignore him.

'Haha yeah I know I was just calling you to catch up, by the way, did you know that there's going to be a new girl coming on Monday? I have to show her round with Ashley.'

'A new girl? A new person again? What's her name?' Josh looks up at me interestedly while wrapping his arm around me.

'Debby Ryan. Apparently she was on this Disney Show as a kid'

'Debby Ryan? Huh, never heard of her.' I felt Josh's arms around me stiffen instantaneously. I look up at him with a weird look.

'Hey you okay there?'

'Yes?'

'Not you Patty, I'm talking to my gobsmacked boyfriend who can't seem to wrap his head around that a stranger might walk into our learning facility,' I chuckle, poking Josh's cheek expectantly.

'It's nothing,' he chuckles mechanically, removing his grasp from around my waist and scratching the back of his head.

'Sure doesn't sound like nothing. Listen Patty, I know we have lots to catch up on but I need to go I'll talk to you later.'

'Alright, bye (y/n)'

'Bye Patrick.' I smile into the phone before putting it back on the kitchen counter, forgetting that Josh's sweatshirt failed to provide pockets for valuables. 'So... What was that all about?'

'What was what all about?' Josh responds, removing himself from the wrap of my legs and heading to the fridge.

'You... Acting all weird... What's up with that?' I turn around to look at him with a carton of milk on his hand, (I s2g if anyone references the milk fic here I will personally take it upon myself to SLAY you and not in the good way) 'You know you can't hide anything from me Joshy,'

'Just drop it ok?'

'But—'

'I said just drop it!' he interrupts sharply and me eyebrows shoot up, probably disappearing all the way up over my forehead.

Josh sighs and make his way back round the counter, kiss my cheek.

'I'm sorry baby, let's just go watch some Netflix. And the chilling? I'll let YOU decide how we want to do that tonight.' he wiggles his eyebrows as he picks me up from the counter, bridal style, and plops me right in the middle of the sofa as I punch him playfully, giggling.

We both snuggle up to each other to watch a bit of Prison Break before carrying on from where we left off earlier...

Before I knew it, Monday had come rolling round and I was skateboarding into school with Josh. I skateboarded circles around Josh before knocking the SnapBack off his head, laughing.

'Ugh, when you first said you could skateboard, I thought you were trying to impress me, but now you're just showing off,' Josh grumbles and I punch him playfully.

All of a sudden, in my peripheral vision, I see Patrick with an auburn haired girl I didn't recognise.

Hey that must be the new girl! I should introduce myself.

'YO PATTY!' I yell to the smol dude and wave frantically. Josh turns to see what I was getting all excited about and widens his eyes for a moment.

'Listen (y/n), I need to get to class but I'll catch ya later bye,' he quickly grabs my waist and pecks me on the lips before skateboarding away, waving back at me. I wave back, confused at his behaviour. What was up with him?

I shrugged it off as I headed towards the new girl and Patty who was already giving me a big grin from afar.
