"Wait, what!" Sierra never imagine anything like this. All Lightwood was, was a happy place. I mean sure there was the dark side, but it was never bad. She always heard rumors this would happen but not until maybe 100 years from now. This really made Sierra think. They didn't even know who caused this. Was there some Queen witch that was hiding under their noses? What else was hiding in the dark side? Was all this planned, were the witches just waiting for the right moment? Sierra wondered....
"The dark side is coming over Lightwood and soon there will be no light left! Its coming in quickly, we have to save the citizens!" My dad rushed out the door.
Sierra went to her room, and for the first time thought about death. Will I be a ghost? Will I turn evil? There were so many questions she wanted answered.
I don't want to die. Sierra thought. All my life I've been waiting for things to happen, but not this time.
Sierra ran down stairs.
"Mom-"
"Oh honey, everyone is going missing! All the people who live near the dark side have disappeared!" Sierras mom looked like she was gonna pass out.
Sierra looked outside. The dark side was definitely moving fast, she could tell it was the majority of Lightwood now.
Soon Lightwood was in chaos. The citizens were all panicking. Saying "ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!" No one was listening, everyone was doing their own thing. It was hard to rally all the people into one spot. More and more people kept disappearing, which caused more chaos.
"Everyone please calm down!" Sierras dad shouted, though no one listened.
Finally everyone started to calm down. Actually listening to the King or Sierras father.
"Everyone! The dark side is coming! And we all need to work together and get through this! So everyone calm down the guards will escort you." Sierra's dad was actually pretty calm about this. He always said to not panic. I can see why the citizens picked him to be King, he was always good at these things. Sierra thought.
More and more the dark side came. Sierra really started to worry. I Have to do something. Sierra thought. Lightwood can't end like this, its supposed to go on forever. And a light bulb flashed over Sierra's head. And she knew what she had to do.
