Chapter 10: Goodbye

Her veins were pitch bitch covering her whole body. Johnathan thought to himself. She had passed out and he was carrying her in his arms. Damn it, I never should of done that. What the hell was I thinking! Johnathan was furious at himself. Sierra was getting worse and Johnathan needed help fast. Where to go, Where to go... Ah! i know! Johnathan quickly picked up the pace heading deeper in the forest...

Sierra woke up on the ground in a cave. Oh my, what happened. She thought. She got up and looked around realizing what had happened. Oh no, I gotta get out of here. Sierra quickly started walking out of the cave, still trying to recover. Johnathan was no where in sight, but Sierra didn't care she just needed to get out of here fast.

"Where do you think your going young lady?" Sierra turned around to see a old lady behind her.

"Stay away from me, I need to out of here before I hurt someone!" Sierra began to walk away when she bumped into Johnathan.

"Sierra your up! I'm so sorry I never should've misjudged you like that. Hey, are you okay?"

"I-I need to go, get out of my way!" Sierras eyes started to turn black, she started to get consumed by rage.

"Sierra whats happening with your eyes? What's going on?" Johnathan tried to grab Sierra's hand but it was burning to the touch.

"I said stay away from me! I don't want to hurt you!"Sierras eyes were fully black now her veins started turn turn as well. She was about to do something she would regret when the old lady injected Sierra with this liquid.

"Oh my god, what did you do?" Johnathan asked shocked.

"You learn a few tricks as you get older." She said with a smile.

Sierra finally started to look normal, and soon started to regain consciousness. Oh my god, my head. Sierra thought. She looked around and saw Johnathan laying down sleeping.

"He's such a trooper, isn't he?" Sierra turned around and saw the old lady from earlier.

"Yeah he is. I'm so sorry, I was just trying to protect you guys and keep you safe." Sierra sighed to herself.

"And that's why I must leave. And don't try and stop me. I came her to save my Kingdom and that's what I plan to do." Sierra stood up.

"I will not stop you, this is your choice. But I will give you this." The old lady turned around and put a beautiful maroon colored, stone necklace around Sierra's neck. She looked at her confused.

"You do not understand yet, but you will be a big part of history one day. You will need this to protect you, and help you control your powers."

"Powers?" Sierra gasped.

"You have the powers of a great warlock. You must use them for good or it will turn into a curse." The lady said.

"So it's not a curse?" Sierra said confused.

"Not yet it's not. Now you must get going if you want to leave before he wakes up." The old lady said gesturing toward the exit of the cave.

"Take this short cut, follow the path and it will lead you to where you need to go."

"Thank you, please keep him safe, he's been through a lot." Sierra then walked out of the cave and began to follow the path....
