Chapter 7: The Woods

Sierra looked back at her home one last time and headed toward the woods. Now it didn't matter weather it was day or night, there would be creatures everywhere waiting to get there first meal. Sierra took out a dagger ready for anything. She looked around, all her friends homes were destroyed filled with darkness. Suddenly Sierra heard a laugh, a mischievous laugh. She looked around trying to find that laugh....
" You look a little lost, let me show you the way..." The voice said.
"Who are you? What are you?" Sierra said holding her dagger tight in her hands.
"Oh no need for that, I am here to help."
Sierra saw a shadow in the corner of her eye, and saw the creature that matched the voice.
"Your a witch! Stay away from me!" Sierra began to run. But the witch was in her path.
"Don't run I'm here to help." The witch said coming closer. Sierra threw her dagger at the witch, but the witch threw it away with her magic.
"Don't worry everything is gonna be f-" Before the witch could finish a arrow hit her heart, and she fell to the ground.
Sierra the saw a boy come out of the darkness.
"Stay away from me!" Sierra said taking out her staff.
"Oh no I hope I don't die! Give me a break, that staff ain't gonna do crap." The boy said. He had brown hair and light skin. His clothes were black and ripped, he had a muscular tall body with a few bruises here and there. And his eyes were a icy blue.
"Who are you?" Sierra said eyeing him.
"The names Jonathan." He said putting away his crossbow.
"How come I've never seen you before?" Sierra couldn't remember him anywhere.
" I live on the other side of lightwood. I never thought I'd meet a princess." He said smirking.
"Ew stop, what are you doing here?"
" Trying to live duh. What are you doing here?" Jonathan looked at her.
"Well, I'm here to end this."
