Chapter 13

I was laying on Alex's bed next to Nick while Alex was sitting at his desk playing some Call Of Duty Multiplayer. I was watching Lucas' new vlog from yesterday and some from this morning.
Nick got up and turned his body to lay the back of his head on my stomach. I ran my hand through his hair and kept doing that. "Hey, what do you guys want for dinner?" Nordan said, peeking in the room.
  "Why are you asking?" I ask, pausing the video and lowering my phone.
  "Cheo isn't here tonight. He's spending time with his kids."
"Oh okay." I said understanding, Jose wanted to spend time with his children since he's a dad. I could tell he's a very good one, considering he can put up with the boys.
"Me and Nick could drive up to like Burger King or something. Oh I could cook something!" I suggested, I love cooking! Cooking has been one passion of mine ever since I was little, I would always help my grandma in her restaurant before she... You know.
"That would be cool. I checked the fridge and we have like chicken." Nord said, still hanging out by the door.
"I'll make like spaghetti. It's still like six right?" I sat up, Nick was staying laying on me just on my legs now. I kissed his forehead and got up.

I started boiling some water, grabbing out pasta sauce out of the pantry, and cooking up the chicken. "Mmm. What's cooking in the kitchen?" Lucas said, walking in. Earlier today the boys went and got a haircut, so Lucas had shorter hair but I liked it... It was cute.
"Making simple spaghetti but instead of beef I replaced it with Chicken. And this is enough to feed all of you hungry boys." I said, adding salt and oil to the water then sticking the noodles into the pot.
"Do you have any siblings? Did you like grow up with a younger and older relative." Lucas asked, sitting at the table. I sighed deeply; I tried to not cry.
"Funny story... Uhm." I never told anyone about this situation except for Nick. "Uhm, actually I do- did have a sibling. His name was Wyatt, he was three years older than me." I exhaled deeply, trying to catch my breath. "Uhm, when he died," That word made me choke, I don't like talking about Wyatt to other people. "He was 16, I was 13 of course. He came out as gay when he was 15 and my parents were very very supportive. But since he told everyone and was open about it. He got bullied... And-" I choked again and I felt hot tears stream down my face, I tried to control it. "One night, he was acting strange. And he just-" I couldn't take it.
I broke down on the floor, crying hysterically. I didn't know what to do, I couldn't finish the story. Lucas quickly came up to me and started hugging me. I heard the five other boys come into the kitchen. Waterfalls of tears just poured out of my face.
"What the fuck happened?!" Nick said, rushing to me; comforting me with Lucas.
"I don't know I just asked her about siblings and-" Lucas rambled, I was still crying my face off. I miss Wyatt so much, all of the fun memories he had and what he could've had it's just so sad to see him gone. I heard Nick whisper something but I couldn't quite make it. I was too busy bunching up memories.
Fuck.

Lucas' POV

I didn't know what I did wrong. She was just crying. Damn. It's all my fault I never should have brought up the topic of siblings.
Nick was next to me, comforting Ady better than me. It looked like it wasn't his first time seeing her cry. "What's wrong?" I mouth to Nick, combing Ady's hair with my hand.
"You mentioned her brother. Whenever that topic comes up she gets emotional." Nick lightly whispered.
"Why though?" I lightly whisper back.
"I'll explain later." I nod. We try to bring her. The couch and turn on one of her favorite shows, Portlandia.
Nick and I walk over to the kitchen to see the rest of the boys confused, Nord went to go watch TV with Adalee.
"So what happened?" I whisper to Nick, trying to prevent Adalee from hearing our conversation.
"Okay. So Wyatt is or was gay and one night it was his 16th birthday and he was getting bullied by the kids at school (who were jackasses), and it got way too far to the point where Wyatt would be taking drugs and shit. So he couldn't take it no more, so when the clock just turned 12 AM to his 16th birthday... Wow, this is even hard to say." Nick said, pausing the story. "Uhm, he hung himself." I could tell Nick was struggling.
  "Wow. I understand the feeling of losing someone you love the most." Nikan said, taking in a deep breathe. His dad died in March and I know it was a hard time for him. I went up to Nikan and just gave him a big hug.
  "Damn." Jakob said, leaning on the counter.
"Hey guys, let's just finish this dinner for Adalee. Make her proud. I want this to be a happy experience for her in New York." Alex said, mixing the sauce and noodles.
  I walk over to the living room to see Adalee not crying as much, just sniffing a bit. "Are you okay now?" I ask, she looked over at me and smiled a bit. Adalee just shrugged, oh how she was still pretty.
"No words can explain how fucking beautiful you are." I said, cupping her face, Nordan just rolled his eyes.
I just fucking love her so much.

Okay so while I was writing this chapter, specifically THIS PART of the book; the ending. My emoji board fucks up and starts acting weird and I just deal with it. BUT THEN GUESS WHAT?! WATTPAD CRASHES! And It deleted 200 words from this chapter so I'm fucking pissed brb Imma gonna go kms💀
